Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Neive’s historic center maintains a medieval layout, composed of cobblestone streets that ascend towards the Clock Tower and elegant terracotta palaces. Neive is also a sought-after destination for visits to its wineries, often housed in stately homes like the 18th-century Palazzo dei Conti di Castelborgo. There are four types of wines produced in the Neive hills: Barbera and Dolcetto d’Alba, Barbaresco, and Moscato d’Asti.”

The village is on the top of a hill surrounded by wineyards. It is a little jewel full of old buildings and of course wine bars. As many other places in the Langhe it requires times, it is not a place for a 20min stop, you have to enjoy the time, of course with a good glass of wine!

This village is set on the top of a hill and the buildings and streets wind around the circumference of that hill. This provides many great views of the vineyard that circle the town.

There are architecturally interesting buildings including several beautiful churches and impressive municipal buildings.

It has been designated as one the Loveliest Cities in Italy, and we visit every time we are in the area.

And every time we visit, we are struck by how many new cafes, restaurants, and wine shops have been added.

What a beautiful old city. I venture to say little has changed over the centuries. Not too big to just wander all the street and soak in the history.

This is one of the three Barbaresco wine villages. It has been elected the prettiest village in Italy and it is certainly very pretty and eorth a visit. Park outside the village and walk in the historic centre to the lookout and enjoy the beautiful views.

Lovely small walled village. The village is beautiful but we went there mostly for a wine shop -Al nido della Cinciallegra- this was an amazing experience. We tasted many wines and bought a lot of their local product. The owners were so knowledgeable patient and gracious.

So enjoyed our early morning walk around Neive, so quiet and beautiful. There are information boards showing a map of the village and the main sights, at each sight there is written information in English which allowed us to appreciate the history of Neive.
