I was wondering about access to the beach. I am not a guest of the hotel but I am getting married on Abama beach in October. Our wedding planner is trying to charge us €300 more for transfers from playa de las America to Abama beach than we can get it for ourselves. She has me worried that we won’t be able to gain access to the beach. The hotel won’t let us use the funicular as it’s for guests only. I have elderly people attending who would not be able to walk down the 180 steps that our planner told us about. Is there a cheaper way for my guests to get onto the beach?.. please .... a stressed out “ bride to be”..

Hi,
Apart from the Fenicular, there is also a road winding from the hotel to the beach sea level. the hotel also operates a slow open train for the hotel guests.
From my past experience this whole beach operates as a part of the hotel, I therefore strongly suggest you contact the hotel management and arrange a paid formal use of this train for the convenience of the guests.
I suppose that as part of such arrangement they may also activate the Fenicular at certain times to allow elderly people go up and down.
Note that this beach also has a bar operated by the hotel. a great opportunity for late night wedding celebration.

Ciao. Tutta la spiaghia e libera. Di mattina e pui facile a trovare il parcheghio ma dipende anche di giorno di settimana. Sono stati li' due volte, di weekend, ma la prima volta non era niente spacio al parcheggio e siamo andato via, e l'altra volta era bouna scelta di spacio

Yes you have to pay 16€ per sunbeds and 9€ for umbrella.

ciao vorrei sapere se é possibile (a pagamento) utilizzare la funivia della spiaggia e magari quelle macchinine elettricbe dell'hotel per salire e scendere. Inoltre vorrei sapere se servizi e docce sono gratuiti o meno. grazie

Ciao scusa vedo ora la tua domanda, l'ascensore è gratuita così come i trenini che ti portano su e giù dalla spiaggia dai un'occhiata agli orari perché mi sembra che l'ultimo giro sia alle 18.00
anche i bagni sono gratuiti, io la doccia l'ho fatta e nessuno mi ha detto qualcosa ... Ho mangiato molto bene al Ritz sulla spiaggia che è anche l'unico ristorante che c'è.
