Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed at Melati Beach Resort but had meals next door at Thongson Bay Cabins as they were much cheaper and the food was delicious.
Melati Beach Resort is a quiet relaxing stay away from the crowds, staff were excellent but lacked english language skills which is not their fault but made it hard when asking questions.

Pretty bay , soft sand. We visited after a lot of wind and rain . The top layer of sand had been weathered away and there were lots of wires etc from fishing nets poking up through the sand. The sea had a lot of scum and rubbish but this was probably a result of windy weather blowing things about

Very nice beach situated in the north which is easily accessible by scooter. Sand is very nice, plenty of trees for shade but lots of space to sunbathe. Sea is very nice to swim in and not too many jellyfish.

The beach is small and there is one restaurant. it wasn't super crowded. We rented chairs which were only 50 baht but just plastic loungers with no pads. The water is beautiful. The restaurant is OK. Better than we expected but not super gourmet but nice to be able to walk up and get a drink and bite to eat. It was a relaxing afternoon. I would definitely recommend.

This is a hidden paradise, after exploring many beaches in Koh Samui with my family, we agreed immediately this beach was the best!!! And we decided to stay at Thongson Bay Bungalows, a family-owned place, which was just our dream in front of a small quiet beach.

Beautiful little bay with sandy white beach. Great little reasturant at Thongson Bay to enjoy food and cold beers at.

Not the cleanliest beach of Ko Samui . However, you can take some good photos here, depending on the weather.

I love this place, good food and quiet beach away from all the hustle and bustle and right next to the nude beach

Google Melati resort.Drive to the right.Once you hit the dirt road keep going to the beach. Then you need to walk on this concrete walk and then walk over the walks. This beach is called Naturism Beach. If you want that all over tan this is the place. Most likely will have the whole beach to yourself.Very secluded and not the greatest place to swim because of all the rocks. The resort at Thongson Bay says you cannot bring your own food and drinks. So you can take the pave road to the right just after you reach the dirt. There is a little guard house and just drive a minute and turn right. You can drive up there and park your bike. Then walk down to the beach.

We have been there just today and experienced a beautiful beach, calm sea, a nice palm tree and not too many people. The beach is quite hidden and therefore calm, there is a restaurant on it and you can rent sun-beds for 100bht. No possibility to shower or rinse off the sand.
