Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Try Daddy Brown's conch salad if you can, and visit the new Maritime Museum to learn about the island's (and The Bahamas) history. The British phone boxes are courtesy of Sir Jack Hayward's efforts post World War II.

Although I understand coming from a sales background the need to make sales. The way they go about it turned me off. Too pushy trying to make you buy anything even if its not your size. I gave it 3 stars because the jewlrey store is more professional. We ended up making a purchase there.

Last port of call on our 4 day cruise. There are several local booths in this area. few other places to eat and get a drink. Just a nice little place to walk around and pass a few hours.

Like to spend time here when in Freeport. Coffee, beer ot glass of wine and even better when live music is on. STAY AWAY during Spring Break as it gets completely nuts. Otherwise, pleasant and friendly at Count Basie Square any other time during the year.

Count Basie Square is located at Port Lucaya. It has a beautiful setting overlooking the bay. There are historic buildings all around. Across the bay there is Unesco SCUBA, legendary to the Bahamas. They have their own complex as well as museum. Count Basie Square was very quiet that day, as the lack of cruise ship passengers. After the hurricanes in 2016, three of the Lucayan resorts stand empty, closed. Their owners took the insurance money and left. Now the Bahamian Government is trying to find tenants or buyers, but in the meantime, the island struggles.

Desconozco el transporte público, pero seguramente en el Hotel te van a informar. Inclusive podés preguntar por los Taxis, que en realidad son vans que llevan hasta 12 pasajeros y por 3 o 4 dolares te llevan y traen a donde quieras ir.
