- Stephen F1 contributionFantastic Museum.Great museum, especially the tank shows. It brings the armored vehicles to life. This is probably the best armor museum in North America and can compete with the tank museum in Bovington. They're constantly growing their collection.Visited June 2023Written 11 June 2023
- DayTrip25542901825Penetanguishene, Canada1 contributionGreat museumGreat museum. All the vehicles are in working order. The staff have great knowledge and happy to help. It wasn't busy when we went and the staff stayed with us the whole time to explain everything and answer any questions. Overall great day!!Visited July 2023Travelled with familyWritten 17 July 2023
- Colin FToronto, Canada1,023 contributionsTank HeavenThis is one of the best tank museums in Canada (along with the War Museum in Ottawa). Linked to the nearby reserve unit, they've built up an impressive collection of armour. They even keep some of them in running condition. Definitely worth a visit if you're into militaria.Visited June 2023Written 2 August 2023
- AboudToronto, Canada1 contributionMassive number of militry vehicles from many warsWent on a Saturday when there was a demonstration of working British, American, Canadian and German military vehicles from the Second World War. The event was highly entertaining and informative, and very well organized. The museum has a very large number of military vehicles dating all the way from the First World War to the Cold War. The price of admission was very modest ($20 CAD), well worth the experience.Visited August 2023Travelled soloWritten 12 August 2023
- Mike M1 contributionAWESOME!TOP notch from the time we arrived to the time we walked out the door. Awesome display of military vehicles surrounded by knowledgeable volunteers answering questions and providing historical insight into the the vehicles...their role and historical timeline. As we walked in we were greeting with respectful kindness and as we were walking out the door we were thanked for our patronage. HIGHLY recommended !Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 27 August 2023
- RockiroadsOshawa, Canada1,271 contributionsYou gotta go hereThis is a one of a kind amazing place. If you go on one of the special weekends, a low fee to enter the museum and watch them perform some amazing drills with real tanks that they have refurbished. Often, you can get on many of these tanks and take a good look for yourself. They have also offered rides in some of the open track machines on those special weekends. The History of the war machines shines brightly, and some of the items are from all over the globe. They are always fixing up something new and exciting. There is lots of parking and it is easy to get too. Bring ear plugs on one of their "special" show weekends.Visited May 2023Travelled with familyWritten 14 September 2023
- Tripwhat4 contributionsWorld Class MuseumBeen lucky enough to visit world class museums around the world this museum is right up there in so many aspects. Calling it only a museum doesn’t describe its full value. Thanks to dedicated talented volunteers many of these tanks and vehicles are in working order, and on several Tank Weekends they drive them out of the hanger and onto the terrain. These displays allow everyone to see them in action including informative descriptions as the tanks roll onto the field. Fantastic! When I was there they were adamant about their role in preserving the history of these engineering marvels, with a goal that these machines never be used again in conflict. Inside the museum dozens of vehicles and tanks and some really great displays of the varied collection. So many friendly volunteers providing background on all the displays made this so special, you can feel the passion in their description of the museum and local history. I’d say if your local or just visiting Toronto and have an affinity for history, engineering, politics, tanks, great museums, or just a fun day, don’t hesitate to put this on your list, the effort getting to this area is worth it. I will be back for sure! Thanks.Visited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 17 September 2023

Really had a wonderful time. I enjoyed walking around the different vehicles, reading the written information displays and talking with two very knowledgeable gentlemen. My only regret is that I didn't come on one of the Tank Saturdays to see them in motion.
