    Make good timing for visit
Amazing place with magnificient atmosphere, but you can really struggle with car looking for parking. So make good timing when you going to visit, we suggest early morning. We suggest you visit this place last days on Tenerife when you get use to drive in serpentines. Most difficult place for driving..

    Avoid farmer in Masca Village
Wouldn’t normally write a review like this but felt this guy deserves it! Beautiful village with amazing views but avoid the rude farmer halfway down on the right to the view point who without doubt is the rudest person met in Spain! Has an abundance of half rotten fruit and gets irate that you don’t wish to buy from him, states hates British and Polish in particular as never want his goods! Try sorting your attitude and produce out and may have more custom! Restaurant La Piedra near the church was lovely with wonderful staff.

    Totally beautiful
This review is not particularly for Mascar village, but the whole valley. We have just wound our way through it in our little rental car. Go late in the day so there is less traffic. Just a mind bogglingly beautiful drive. Round every corner another unbelievable sight is revealed. I guess nervous fldrivers won’t enjoy it but what a sheer thing of wonder they would miss. We have travelled over much in the world but this is right up there in terms of absolute magnificence

    Hairy drive but worth it
The amazing, steep, switchback drive up to this tiny village is fun but meeting other cars and busses on this road is pretty hairy. Parking is limited so car share or go by bus from Santiago del Tiede if possible. We ended up parking at a great little cafe at Mirador Hilda at the top of the valley ( good food, ice creams & drink and reasonable souvenirs sold too) We then walked the track down 1.5km to Masca and back again. Part of it is on the road but then you get to a fantastic wooden walkway. As we arrived at Masca 5 tourist busses were just leaving . Hairy drive back down but we'd seen great views so well worth the extra grey hairs! 😁😄😃

    What a spot!
Back after 10 years and a little different. Trails now pre booked and hiking boots required. No problem for us as we came with young family for the views. Driving over early but parking was still one in and one out. Had lovely coffee cakes and returned for dinner at the restaurant with awesome views! Have to say the male guide in the visitor centre was very engaging. What a beautiful spot. Seeing is believing.

Super mountain road, we were here for the third time and still want to come back. A challenge to the driver. Unfortunately, on one of the viewing platforms, the car doors were left unlocked and the cash from one of the passenger's handbags, which was left in the car, was missing. We discovered it immediately, because the car door was left open, but there was nothing we could do. Please be vigilant.

Loving nature and all things wild this was high on our list to visit during our trip in February . Unfortunately on the Saturday morning we went it appeared that so had everyone else in Tenerife. We set off early as it was a long drive and as we reached the roundabout where you leave the main road to join the narrow road to the Valley there was a queue of traffic backing up along the road which we could see snaking up the mountain road. Looking at Google maps we could see that the traffic congestion was showing for the next 40 minutes . On a hot sunny day it wasn't appealing as we know that places to stop are limited on the route. We decided to turn around and head along the coast. We stopped at a cafe where a resident of Masca and he advised us to don't even think about going at the weekend as the traffic is crazy and if you go during the week to go very early in the morning to try and avoid the traffic

Very picturesque. We caught the bus up and walked down to the coast - a nice walk with cafes along the way - a swim in the sea at the finish

Beautiful scenery, but a lot of tourists visit this area so there was no room to park in the view point areas to stop and take photos nor was there anywhere to park for any of the restaurants. The roads are hair pin roads, and tight in a lot of spaces, this was hard to navigate with a lot of tourists and buses going round corners, and made it a stressful experience. Would be better for an experienced driver to drive around these roads. Would recommend going maybe early in the morning to avoid the traffic, hopefully that might help with the experience and the roads. We got there about 11am, so a lot were there already and were stopping for lunch. Would recommend a visit as it is stunning, but note how busy it is.

The most incredible place in Tenerife; the views are overwhelmingly beautiful! We drove up early as the roads as very narrow and come 11am, they get busy and super scary! There are cafes, restaurants and bars if you want to eat or drink. Every time your head turns a new incredible view is witnessed. Il never regret nor forget visiting this beautiful place

The village is way overrated in my opinion. Very difficult to get there (it can fit only one car on the road). The view is, indeed, nice.

This place blew me away. The scenery is just mindblowingly beautiful and hard to take in. I’ve seen many great Mountain View’s but this really is something to behold. Roads are winding and narrow, with precipitous drops just over the edge but the danger just adds to the awe you hold this place in. One of the best sights I’ve ever seen and a must do in Tenerife.
