Not as ornate as others but still an impressive structure with a lovely cloister area. Art works and carvings are very impressive. Saw as part of a tour and guide was excellent. Built for Queen Isabella and the King as a place they wanted to be buried but the Royal family on their deaths won't allow them to be buried there.

Small Church with Gothic-Romanesque

This is one of many beautiful churches in Toledo. This is smaller and more personable. A place which I would be comfortable worshiping. It has some bling but more subdued and just nice.

Beautiful interior

Takes very little time to go round this church unless you wish to study the Visigoth remains and artefacts on display, as we did.
Very impressive and one of many such important buildings in Toledo, a must see

the inside of the " San Roman Church " is impressive... the high Altar , the various columns and other art affects are so impressive to look at and study the details of each piece.

One of the oldest buildings in Toledo, but well preserved

Built in the 12th century but added to in the 13th and later, it's situated in a quiet area of Toledo.
Normally we enjoy spending some quiet time reflecting in Churches, but we had little time on our hands on the day we were in Toledo being on a conducted day tour so we didn't go in to this Church.

We went in and walked around. We didn't take a tour. It was amazing and we don't make churches like that anymore. I would go back again.

Beautiful altar very good to see.

This church was free to enter if I remember correctly the altar surroundings were beautiful and worth a visitalthlugh did not take too long to go around it.

So well preserved and so ornate. The detail is fantastic. Well worth a visit and its lovely and cool inside.No special dress code was required.
