This place was a paradize. if you are a lover of fine ceramic artwork, then ART Escudellers is a place you can't miss. I wanted to buy each and every peace. Highly recommended place to visit when in Barcelona. Any peace you get from there will make your Spanish memories live until your next visit.

If I could give 6 stars I would. While in a tour we went into one of their stores and went back the next day to the larger store. Wonderful inventory, unusual pieces. We purchased a 5 foot hand painted elephant and a small hand painted golfer. Nora was wonderful in helping us but the best part was to come. Angeline kept us informed of the shipping process. We were nervous since we had had items shipped from another country which was not well packed. The packing of the elephant was amazing and it arrived in perfect condition. Thank you to everyone.

Large selection for tourists but also carries beautiful dish sets for the home. The downstairs level has less touristy selections. They were short staffed the day we were there but still very helpful. Prices may be a bit high, but the selection and ease of shipping home made it worthwhile.

Beautiful designs. Huge collection. Eye catching art work.

Buyer beware! The goods are overpriced. I purchased a Gaudi salamander from here for approximately €16. The next day I went to Casa Batllo and found a much prettier Gaudi lizard in the gift shop for nine euros. I purchased the lizard from the Casa Batllo gift shop and decided to return the item that I had bought from Art Escudellers. When I tried to get a refund, I was told it is never done and I can only exchange for another item. There is no sign posted anywhere to warn you that all sales are final. I had to argue my case for about 30 minutes and demand that the owner be contacted to approve a refund. Before I left I advised the store clerk to make sure that a visible notice is posted by the cash register to let people know that they do not give refunds, but I doubt they will! Kind of shady business practice.

Saw the store while window shopping. Was overwhelmed by the beautiful ceramic pieces inside. The store clerk happened to be a Filipina and was most gracious and pleasant. I ended up buying a mural that she expertly packed. The piece looks so beautiful hanging on our wall. Now, I am trying to buy another mural through their website. Made my Barcelona experience really wonderful!

This shop has beautiful pottery from all areas in Spain and Portugal, great tiles and tile murals as well as gifts of all kinds. All items purchased are wrapped beautifully. Worth a visit!

I’m so pleased that we came to this wonderful authentic pottery shop. All laid out very nicely and my goodness how difficult it was to choose as they we all so beautiful!
I’ll definitely recommend this place. They did pack it well and delivered to our hotel. This is not a souvenir type shop. It’s one where you want something special, so don’t expect it to be cheap but it’s not over the top either.

No! They don't stand by there items. I purchased a clown and it's damaged. They have my money and have never responded back to me about the issue.. I'm so upset! The stuff looks beautiful but u have to really look it over or u will end up like me!

I want to pick up some pottery plated from each country we visit in October on our cruise. This place looks as though it would be worth looking at. Did you have anything shipped back to Australia? Was it far out of the city centre, and we will be arriving on a Sunday, do you know if it opens weekends.

This shop is amazing and open on the weekends, and even later into the evening, so you should be fine to get there. There are 3 of these shops and they are all pretty close to each other. You will be able to walk to each of them. This one is just off St James square, so right in the centre!
I didn't ship anything (managed to fit it all in my carryon bag!). But the lady did tell me that they ship, and they have a web site to order from once you are home. So you should not have any issues.
