Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Frescoes, columns, a lady restauring a column, a nice local guide explaining the history of the church with emphasis and passion. And everyting in peace.

Treviso is such a beautiful city and this church is a must. A huge twelfth century building with areas behind it which are currently undergoing restoration. I was especially impressed by the frescoes on the pillars - and by the way that 18th century builders just removed some of the wall frescoes half way down to construct the door to the sacristy.Well worth a visi

This 14th-century Dominican church is really beautiful. Its walls are adorned with frescoes by various 14th-century artists, including works from G. Savoldo, L. Lotto, G. Buora, J. Lauro, L. Bregno, and F. Bassano among others.
The pipe organ was built by G. Callido in 1779.
The church’s cloister, which is home to the chapter house of the Dominicans and bears frescoes by Tomaso da Modena, is also very beautiful.

I began by walking through the old gate (across the street from the train station), and followed the water into the pedestrian area. On my right I saw the spire of the church. When I got to a bridge where I could cross over I backtracked, and found the church. It was open. There was no one requiring an entrance fee (but, there are places for tourists to deposit their gifts). I was able to look, take photos (no flash), and pray in the Blessed Sacrament chapel. I didn't want to leave, but there was so much more of the city for me to see. I would recommend setting aside at least 1 hour to see this extraordinary church.

The church and cloister are from the 1400s. Wonderful frescos that are well light from the clear windows. A visit also gets you to walk through more of the town.

Wow, it is really spectacular in a very "understated way." It was a treat to visit. The frescoes are really special and should not be missed.

Some very unusual frescoes on the walls and pillars. Agreed with an earlier comment about the weird proportions of one saint....huge feet, little head! If you are in Treviso, worth seeing.
