Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice park, built for expo, now most well-known for Atomium monument which dominates the views. A bit far from the city centre.

After the Grand Place and the Mannekin Pis in the central area of the city, it's worth the trip up to the Heysel Park.
I caught a cab but i'm sure there are other ways of getting there i.e. trains etc.
I really liked the whole park, from the Atomium to the Mini-Europe, it was charming.
As an English football fan, i had to visit the location of the old Heysel stadium, which is now the renovated King Badouin stadium. I walked around the whole stadium, which is quite large, hoping to see some recognition of the 1985 disaster, but there was nothing. Such a shame.

The Park is located in the west of Brussels and is dedicated to relaxation, people watching and exploration – and one of the highlights of the park is the Atomium.
This is a shimmering 102m high model of an atom, made out of chrome and steel.

Erected in 1958 to symbolise a new ‘atomic’ age, the sculpture is an accurate depiction of an iron molecule that has been magnified 165 billion times. A high-speed, glass-roofed lift takes visitors to the top in just 23 seconds, where you can stop for a beer and a snack, take in the views and then get the escalators down, stopping off at the various spheres.

This park is located at the Atomium. The park was rather quiet the day i was there. it is beautiful and clean with lovely well manicured flower beds. There were also engineering objects like that star looking object takes the picture if you and the person who is taking your picture at the same time.

This park is a good area to get a good picture of the Atomium.

It is an open park close to Atomium. There wasn't any exhibition when I went there. The vast green land is lovely for any age group. There is a small football court where the boys enjoy a game and the stretch of green grass is a sight to behold! You will be extremely lucky if the weather favours you. Families come here for picnic. Kids are running around but at a distance that you will be comfortable. A peaceful place although there was music being played from the other side of the park, it still wasn't a big deal. The Police station falls right in front of the park making it safer as you have police vans patrolling the area. After a visit to Atomium or Mini-Europe or Bruxelles Expo, go spend time there with your family or go for a romantic walk with tour partner in the evening.

I guess you need to go on a warm spring / summers day to really spend time and appreciate the gardens.
We went in January. The Atonium is very impressive from the outside and really worth a trip to see. It is situated on the outskirts of Brussels in what can only be described as a wasteland though.Fortunately it is so big you know you've gone to the right place. The surrounding area needs attention. The price is approximately 6€ and I wouldn't pay more. The lift takes you to the top where you can view Mini Europe ( probably the best way to see that attraction). You then take the lift down again and use escalators and stairs to see a stunning collection of everything made of Orange plastic ( I'm being sarcastic). The acid test is would I go again? No. I have photos.
