    Gorgeous in 360 degrees
Everything is gorgeous, from the deep valley the temple faces to the sea of olive trees below to the flowers clinging to life on the harsh rock faces. The architecture is fascinating, and they have done all they can to restore it to its former glory. Part of the point of the experience is how challenging the walking is, but they have smoothed out as much as possible. A few signs give some insight on what you're seeing, but it might be wise to study up before visiting or go to the nearby museum first to help you understand.

Electra a certified guide in area made this site memorable!
This was one of the most amazing sites we visited. What made it amazing and memorable was going with a certified guide named Elsctra. It made the site memorable and one of the best days we spent in Greece. She was an amazing wealth of knowledge about Delphi and this site! Highly recommend hiring Elecctra a certified guide in the area when you visit this site!

    A Heady Delphic Experience
What can you say that can truly capture the profound experience of making the same seemingly endless and tortuous trek across an expanse of mountainous Greek countryside that thousands of hopeful feet of both the low and the mighty had trod over millennia in quest of their fate as mouthed in oracular gibberish by an illiterate village woman high on the hallucinatory fumes exuded by the porous rock forming her mountain niche shrine. The long, dusty zigzag path up to the Oracle’s ruined Temple of Apollo is marked by other equally fascinating ancient ruins all the way up to the sacred mountain top. The sight and the experience is inexpressibly moving. If you can make this ancient pilgrimage, do it.

A little further down the road from the main site but visible from it the Temple of Apollo and its adjacent archaeological sites completes a Delphi visit. It’s setting is gorgeous and enough has been restored to give a really good sense of the built form.

An impressive site particularly at sunset. Take a picnic and enjoy the view. An easy walk up with a great view of Chora as well as an impressive history.

impressive and very significant to the archaeological site.
It is part of the main ruins and comes on the first level of climb - rich in history and significance.
Worth a visit.

It is something else to view this historical place and imagine the immensity of it. Pilgrims had to be very devoted to find their way here.

We purchased our tickets online so made it simple. The parking was a bit far away but worth the walk. The history is amazing but the view is absolutely incredible. This is not a hard walk for most people.

Part of the archeological ruins of Delphi, the temple is a highlight and not to be missed. We were here late afternoon and it was worth it for the fewer crowds.
