Great experience, even better customer service.
I cannot speak highly enough of the customer service of this tour operator. I accidentally booked this tour from Levi (200km away from Rovaniemi). When they called me the day before to confirm pick location, we both realised that I had booked from the wrong town. At this late stage I thought that it would probably be too late notice to get me on another tour, and that I would lose the money I’d paid. Without any bother at all they called me back 10 minutes later and confirmed my new tour details out of Rovaniemi. The tour itself was wonderful. We were given so much interesting information about both the husky dogs and the reindeer. The rides themselves were quite short but to be honest, you wouldn’t want them to be too much longer. It was more about experiencing the difference. The lunch at the cabin was a real bonus. After lunch was the real highlight of the tour. The one hour snowmobile tour. The route was interesting and you definitely felt like you were getting out into the wilderness. The pace was consistently between 30-40kmh and the terrain was up and down. The kids loved being on the sledge behind the lead driver and at halfway they swapped to sit on the snowmobile. Dries our Belgian guide was amazing. Knowledgeable and patient, professional at all times. A beautifully balanced tour delivered by a a very customer focused company.

    Great with children
Awesome experience- we booked an hour safari in Levi - the young man leading it gave clear instructions and was well informed. I'd recommend putting your children in the extra clothing they provide even though they're given blankets. Our children (5 and 8) became incredibly cold on the hour snowmobiling safari and were upset at the end. The staff, especially the two leaders (young male and female) were so empathetic and just great with them, offering marshmallows etc! My son then returned the next day to go mini snowmobiling which he absolutely loved! Definitely recommend!

    Family fun trip
We booked through getyourguide in the UK and booked for 2 dates as didn’t know what our TUI itinerary would be. We could cancel our booking 24hrs before the date we had booked and payment was taken closer to the actual date of the trip. It was very east to cancel one of the dates and a refund was issued straight away. We booked a trip that included husky ride, reindeer ride, snowmobile and kids snowmobiles. Our pick up time the day before didn’t come through via email until around 6pm which did worry me as was expecting earlier in the day, as I was a little worried as to no email I sent a message on WhatsApp and got a speedy reply. Pick up from hotel was spot on time and taken 5/10 min drive to the office. We then left for the husky and reindeer farm, both rides were great and they were happy to take photos on your own phone for you. We then had a hot juice drink and piece of cake in a hut with open fire (we toasted marshmallows as had taken with us and they said we could when I asked). If doing this trip this was a good time to them eat lunch/any snacks if you had taken them. We then went back to the offices to get ready for snowmobiles, helmets and balaclavas were provided and forms to be signed and driving licences were checked. Kids u set a certain height/age were wrapped in blankets and pulled in a seated sledge by lead driver. We had 30min fast drive then stopped for photos and then drove back (beautiful scenery) The kids then could go around a small track on mini snowmobiles (our 6year old loved it) then we got took back to hotel. Whole trip was 4 hrs long included pick up and drop off. Very well organised and friendly team and a great trip.

    Northern Lights by Minivan Levi
We booked the Northern Lights by Minivan tour from Levi. Unfortunately it was a cloudy few days on our holiday so we didn't see them on this tour, but we still wanted to do the tour as we knew we'd still see beautiful sights whether there were northern lights or not. And we were right! Our guide was called Emmi. She was polite, friendly and so helpful! She was happy to take photos, help us up when we fell in the snow and answered our questions on the local area. Due to the cloud cover we unexpectedly ended up doing a bit of snowshoeing which was quite physical but a lot of fun! It felt like we were in such a special place in the wilderness and we got some amazing photos. Emmi then took us down the path to the viewpoints by the Panorama Hotel. She let us take our time and take the tour at our own pace so it was very relaxed. After that we went to a hut to light a fire for sausages and hot berry juice which was brilliant! We loved this tour and thank you again to Emmi for being our guide. Communication pre-tour was great, all my emails were responded to quickly which was reassuring. Thank you!

We had the best time with Tony! Even though it wasn’t a great day for fishing he made the trip so enjoyable. And maybe our sausages flew out of the trailer and got slimed with mustard but we all laughed and had a good time. And so what if we got stuck in the slush a little bit, that made the trip more memorable. Thank you for the adventure Tony we hope to see you on our next trip!
P.s. we all thank you for the advice you gave us! It worked! 🤗

A fun afternoon that combined a lot of activities in a short period. Very nice guide and well-organized. You really just get a taste of each activity - which I appreciated. If you want a more intense adventure, this is not the trip for you.

Great day out covering all key Lapland attractions - reindeer, huskies and snow mobile. Accommodates both adults and children.

Very expensive for a family: for a very short experience suitable for children also adult have to pay. You learn 3 words in finnish, you can decorate a cookie with frozen decorations that doesn't work and make a dance at 40 euros each.

Dear Daniele, We understand that our Elf Hat Academy show may not have fully met your expectations, especially in terms of value for adults. While designed primarily for children, we apologize if the experience fell short for you. Your feedback is valuable, and we'll consider it as we aim to enhance our offerings. We hope the children enjoyed the interactive activities provided. Thank you. Kindly, The SMP team

This tour was nice enough, but for the price wasn’t ideal. Our guides were great, definitely couldn’t fault them. It was just the organisation that lacked a bit. We spent a lot of time just sitting and waiting around, no instruction, no options, just waiting, the tour could’ve been at least an hour or 90min shorter if the timing was bettered.

The activities themselves:
-The snowmobiling was great, an hour is a perfect amount of time and the scenery is beautiful. I’d definitely recommend doing a snow mobile tour with this company. 10/10 for that.
-Huskies, the dogs were super sweet, but it is a rushed quick get on, go around once, pat dogs then wait for the other 50 people to do the same thing (50 might be an exaggeration, but there were definitely too many for the time slot which is why there was so much waiting around). There was no information on the huskies given, and it wasn’t a very enjoyable part of the tour.
-Reindeer, same as huskies, quick on and off the sleigh and go wait in this cabin (granted, hot drinks and cookies by the fire was good as it was a chilling -23°C). There wasn’t any interaction with the reindeer. We did get information about them at this section though, so better than the husky experience.
-Santa’s village, look, if you’re not obsessed with Christmas, this is just boring. It’s very expensive shopping only. 2hrs here is not needed, it takes 10-15min to wander the village. So unless you’re waiting in line for a €30 photo with Santa or getting lunch, it’s really not worth it.

So, this tour was ok. But personally, I wouldn’t recommend it in its entirety, I’d stick with just snowmobiling here. Maybe if the number of participants is lower it’d be better? Just felt like a lot of money for a lot of sitting around.

This was great value for money compared to some of the more expensive ones. Had 30mins of driving each and a break in the middle to play with the snow.

This was an experience of a lifetime. Was well worth the time and money. Our tour guides Lamjed (Dane) and Jack (Scouser) were amazing, they made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable, they explained different ways they track the northen lights, they brought us to many different spots but the view on the frozen lake was breathtaking. Both of us had our drivers license with us so once we both filled in the paperwork we were allowed swap/take turns driving throughout the excursion. During our pit stop we stopped in a little hut where they made a fire, had a warm drink, cookies and marshmallows we could roast over the fire while waiting for a glimpse of the northen lights. Both the lads were full of chat and were very happy to share their experiences of being in Finland as neither are from there. They were happy to take photos of you and to even show you the best way to get the perfect photo on your phone. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who is thinking of doing it, it’s a memory you will never forget.
