Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were lucky to visit this tower on the one day of the week when it is normally open. It is not a very difficult climb, but it provides a great view of the city and houses a very interesting an historic clock, which is certified to be the second-oldest in the world. If you are in Chioggia, be sure to make time for this on a Sunday morning, which is the only regularly scheduled opening time. There is a small donation requested, but it's worth it.

It is clock tower located in Saint Mark's Square which was built in 1497. The clock was basically built to guide the arriving merchants arriving in Venice by water. Two men on the bell with hammer can be seen who strike the bell after every hour. If you see closely you will find one man is young and the other is of old age which is reflecting the passing of time.

According to the official website, the museum is open on Sunday in the morning and in the afternoon, but the board on the tower tells that it's open only from 10.30 to 12.30 (see the attached photo). So we missed the museum on Sunday afternoon, however, it was open in the evening, but then we weren't guided and we had to pay some euros.

It was easy to buy tickets online and the tour of the tower was very instructive. The guide was knowledgable and provided all the information we needed.
