Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were staying in a hotel literally across the road from this church. It is absolutely beautiful inside. We went in when there was a choir concert and they were so good. It was renovated about 10 years ago and is immaculate. Give it a visit.

Always looks spectacular (on leaving Sorrento as this view is hidden on way in). Staying in Sant' Agnello its easy access. Very difficult to park up.

We attended church services one Sunday.. The priest realized we were not local so he stopped the mass and had someone walk the misselettes back to us so we can join in the prayer. Very welcoming and nice!

Exit the St Agnello railway station, turn right and start walking up the hill towards Sorrento.. the church is on your left. It will help you get your bearings. It is a beautiful church. I preferred St Agnello to Sorrento (which was further up the hill and another 20 minutes away). This area was quieter.

Being based in Sant’Agnello and taking regular walks around the area I could fail to take in the exquisite architecture of the main church of the area on the Piazza Sant’Agnello. Build in the baroque style but augmented by later modifications with clearly hints of 18th and 19th century additions as well as more recent renovations (some sympathetic, some less so) it’s imposing exterior is only better by the interior which is a virtual walk through the history of the area and the region as a whole.

Smatterings of almost every stylistic change covering the 4 plus centuries of its existence. Whether you are catching lunch/drinking at one of the nearby restaurant or bars, or passing through to the nearby train station and shops this is a gem that shouldn’t be missed. Particularly as this will only cost you a little time and potentially a donation to the works carried by church something for which you will be reward with by the experience. Highly recommended.
