Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

we went uphill through the gorge and back through the trails above the gorge. It took us about 80 minutes the whole trip. It's very easy trip. There are few narrow places with rope or cramps/handles. The way back is through olive grow and pastures, so don't forget to close the small gates

Last minute unplanned decision to visit the gorge and we were unprepared for what we found. Very poorly marked trail on rugged terrain. Lost our way fairly early on and had to scramble around to get back to the village through someone’s back garden.
I’m sure it could be great with the right equipment and a guide or decent map but we had none of these so we will put it down as “an experience “

Not as difficult as expected but the return on the road was tiring & monotonous, fortunately it was grey.
The Kantina is far from the end of the gorge.
Exo Mouliana is a very small village with a small food store, no meal.

We loved our morning here. I was glad I had read previous reviews: arriving early is good advice, and the reviewer who provided detailed instructions is a legend - thanks so much.
My 2 kids absolutely loved scrambling up the rocks in the gorge. It really felt like a proper adventure.
The walk down the track back to the car was as hot as Hades. The kids were miserable and had absolutely had enough. Getting back to the car was a joy and a delight.
Trainers and as much water as you can carry are essential.

Well worth the visit, great adventure for 2.5 hours for our family of four with 6 and 10 year old. The gorge was level 3 difficulty hence full of twists, turns and undulations but perfectly doable with a determined and intrepid mind. Kids were playing all sorts of adventure games as they tried to conquer each part of the gorge
Important to take plenty of water, take frequent stops and good walking shoes. So much to see and take in about nature during the walk, really happy we did it. Afterwards we went into the town and had a bite to eat in one of the family run restaurants, very welcoming and nourishing, We also visited one of the local glass art making shops and bought interesting objects to take back
A great day out for the family in Kritsa

Nice walk in the gorge. Very fun. Not too long and not too difficult. But good walking shoes and water are necessary. Not recommended for people with reduced mobility.

Good hike, our 4 year old and 6 year old had great fun doing the gorge. The hike back after the gorge in full sun was a bit less entertaining for them. In total the short tour was 4 km in the gorge and 3 km around it from parking/to parking. Bring sufficient water!

Be prepared, not a walk in the park
Go early before 10 and the walls of the gorge will protect you from the sun.
Take water, the first 10 minutes are the most difficult, to get to the top takes 40 minutes if you don't dawdle, and then 30 minutes to walk down the track
Sensible footwear is a necessity

The gorge was very easy to find from Krista village and well marked along the trail. Took the shorter route which was easy to identify. Good footwear for walking a must as terrain can be very tricky in places.

The trail itself was very nice. It is not really made for small children and more older persons because there are some more difficult parts.
It is a beautiful piece of Mother nature.
But there is no legend that makes clear which clues to follow (for the trail). We walked in the wrong direction the first time. We also stopped by the first exit which takes +/- an hour. Then you can follow a trail back to where it starts.
