Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice place to visit, one of the "must see" in this region. Parking is enough big. Two views to abbys.

Amazing abbys at the end of Punkava caves. The excursion must be purchased well in advance of the visit, preferably online.

The main close up view is directly from the Punkva caves on the bottom, and I think you need reservations for that, not from the viewing platforms. The top and middle views are easily reachable with steps.

Hey, I"m czech , my wife is american. We visited in the summer 2019 w/ our 3yr old baby. It was fun, walked down to the Pukva caves, wore a sweater ( it's freaking cold inside) . I carried Hannah in my lap for a while, she had fun looking around. Took the skylift back up, Fun afternoon.

This place is worth seeing. So nice. i was there in November 29th 2019. A wonder in CZ, nature alive. there is even some parking space some few meters away (less than 100m from the gate) Take a walk down the Abyss, through the stairs, and you will enjoy it. Plus, i heard you could paddle inside the cavern under the abyss (did not try it). The best is to go by car or hire one, the journey up the hill is another enchanting experience. Good for family with kids. Be careful of the curves and the narrow road for cars.Once up there, it is a Yes and Amen.

This is a beautiful part of the Czech republic. It's really a must-see attraction for the whole day. But before the trip do not forget to book tickets to the Punkva Caves, especially during the summer it's essential to book tickets at least 1 week in advance. But I recommend booking the tickets in advance in any case as the caves can accommodate only a limited number of tourists due to the limited space on the boat in Punkva caves.
All reservations for the caves are made by The Skalní Mlýn Central Information Service - you can use telephone number:+420 516 413 575 or +420516 415 354 - the operators speak English or you can use an email for the order, they also reply you in English. You do not pay anything in advance for the tickets but you must collect the tickets 40 minutes prior to your time otherwise the tickets are offered to other people. In case, you did not make the reservation, you can ask during the day if any tickets are available because sometimes the people did not collect the reserved tickets. Reservation to other caves is not necessary,
Don't forget to take warm close to the caves as the temperature here is about 8 degrees of Celsius.

Interesting to see from the bottom during the Punkva caves tour, but the best, jaw dropping view is from the top. We took a cable car there, a short walk took us to the viewing area. We did not have much time to spend there, as the last shuttle train leaves at 17.50 and we had to allow 5 minutes for the cable car ride back, however it would have been great to enjoy an ice cream from the refreshment kiosks or a sit down drink at the restaurant at the top.

The visit itself is free, but you have to pay around 20 crown for the parking lot. The view when you look down the abyss is breathtaking!
You can also walk down to the abyss and see it better.

We loved it here!! It seems like it’s only accessible by car which worked for us, parking all day is 2 euros. Remember to book your tickets in advance by emailing them so that you’re not disappointed! The whole email booking process was very easy and seamless. The tour itself starts a 2km walk away from the entrance and you can either pay for a tram or walk. The tram is 100czk both ways and well worth it because you’ll be doing walking in the cave itself as well. The cave was 8 degrees Celsius when we went so we were happy we brought our coats along with us! The tour was fantastic even though we didn’t understand a word of Czech. The caves were really amazing for the 10 euro entrance fee. We didn’t do the extra cable car to the top and didn’t feel like we missed anything. Would 100% recommend visiting this place!

To visit Propast Macocha is a very nice excursion. It's very good compilated. The first half is a walk in the stalagmite cave, than we can see the Macocha Abyss and finally we make water cruise. I hope to be herre again.
