Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The fatamorgana was really nice. It felt like being in the rainforest. You should visit it. The bus station in front so we didn't have to walk long

Peaceful place, nice to walk.
Garden is huge with wide range of plants.
In the garden area also located a Fata morgana greenhouse in 3 climatic sections, with colorful plants from Australia, Mexico & Africa.
I recommend it.

Went during the pumpkin exhibit, which was moved from the main lawns of the garden to the forrest over it since the last time I visited this place in October. The exhibit was very well done and consisted of multiple themed instalations with helpful info provided about each one and cute photo options as well. There is also a small lookout tower in the forrest and a playground. All parts of the botanical garden are beautiful with many cute paths through the greenery but the Japanesse garden remains my favourite. It's cute, minimalistic, with many interesting features including a small waterfall (there used to be a pond with fishes as well but it was covered for some reason during our visit) and there is an installment of bonsai trees on disput. Now in October the bonsais were colorful, loosing leaves and the trees in the garden had a beautiful red color. There is a new really pretty wine bar/café in the gardens. What is in need of an improvement are the refreshments options - there is only one stand with food and drinks if no event is happening and this stand only offers a small variety of junk food (basically sausages and pancakes). During our visit like two hours before closing they were already out of most things and all the seating was occupied (it was not a busy day and there was not that many people in the areal). Also the garden could use something more decent than trailer toilets (there is only one 'normal' toilet there - the one in the wine bar). One more thing that is hopefully only temporary - because of works in the area the entrance was moved far away to the end of the street it is located in with only one person selling tickets in a tiny toi toi like booth and one turnstile as both and entrance and an exit. Hopefully, the works will end eventually and this beautiful areal will get the entrance it deserves.

I like the greenhouse and the three different exotic regions that are shown. The garden outside us also nice: the japanese garden looks sublime in autumn colors.
The only thing I regret us that as a non-native Czech speaking person I cannot understand a lot of the garden, the names etc. Would be full score if signs, information in the garden would be better. Hope you do ad this is a lovely place in town.

We went over to the Botanical Garden after visiting the Zoo. It’s kind of confusing to get their, but definitely walkable. First impression is very modern and attractive, with a cafe just as you enter. Walk up the stairs to nice greenhouses housing interesting plants. The rest of the Botanical Gardens are a few blocks downhill - we weren’t aware of this until another visitor told us. These are great - bonsai garden was the best!

Lovely gardens, lots of paths to walk along and benches to sit and look at the garden. The greenhouses are also very interesting.

Taking into account the limited time available, Morgana Girl was the only part of the Botanical Garden that interested me. Therefore, the rating refers only to this part.
A wonderful visit! You don't need more than an hour but you feel like you're walking through the jungle. Abundant vegetation, humidity, atypical flowers for our area. There are even some aquariums with exotic fish, very beautiful too. In a separate building, right after you pass the ticket office, is a small restaurant where you can have a tasty lunch at a good price or just have a beer.

Because I come to the Czech Republic often, I have a yearly pass to the botanical gardens. Beautifully landscaped. It has a snack bar and you can have tea or beer. The Saint Clare chapel and winery are there as well. Great to sit and have a glass of wine and overlook Prague.

Well maintained BUT includes a tourist TRAP,
Beware of the trap when buying the combined ticket (botanic garden + green house Fata Morgana). There is only one remote entrance to the Fata Morgana which is outside the botanic garden. No directions, no signs in the whole area of the garden. No information provided at the desk neither. The garden is well maintained but the organization is chaotic. Also the cacti and succulents green house is open ONLY between 9-15. No information provided about this limitation in advance! We missed it by 5 minutes. The garden is nice but the organization should be learned from the Prague ZOO located nearby which I wholeheartedly recommend to visit.

Head from Mustec tube station down Jungmannova if walking and keep going in that direction. You pass a small city park but just keep going in the same direction following the main road. You come on the Botanic garden about 200m after the end of the city park. The entrance fee was very reasonable. Check their website for a price.
