Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I appreciate that unlike cat cafes, here you just pay a reasonable entrance fee to enter without any need to buy a mediocre beverage or snack. This also allows you to wander and interact with the cats, which seem much more playful and loving than in many other cat cafes I've visited. Also, the people working there seem genuinely interested in caring for the cats and connecting them with people who would like to adopt them.

They love cats. The people and most of the cats are very friendly. Yes its 9 byn to get in and worth it. It's not huge and just a quick visit and that totally fine. Free to check out the magic museum area too with entrance fee which is basically an awesomely decorated room with a lot of Harry Potter artwork etc. You also get a free coffee or tea in mini cafe. Its on 3rd floor.

You must pay to enter. It's near the old town Minsk. On 3rd or 4th floor. Lots of cats as you opened the museum door, but it's a smaller place than expected. Unless you are a cat lover, not a must visit.

Cute place that is a must for cat lovers. It is 9 for entry and you can pay with card or cash; this also gives you free cup of tea or coffee.

The Cat Museum is well advertised, but might be hard to miss as it's an inconspicuous doorway and up a few flights of stairs (follow the paw prints).
The owner is a very nice guy, happy to answer questions and obviously cares about his cats.
There were 16 adult cats and 3 kittens when we were there, and you were free to pet them and play with them, but most of the ones I approached seemed a bit fed up and weren't keen.
For some reason there is a Harry Potter themed area, not sure the relevance.
Worth visiting to make a change from churches and old buildings, and the entrance fee goes to a good cause.
Oh, and it smells of cat piss.

The equivalent of 6 Australian dollars for admission and a coffee. The boss cat is Donald. Midway between the Cathedral and the Circus it is a worthwhile detour if you are going to either.

Never thought I could have so much fun watching cats and kittens in a nice comfy environment that is made to house cats that are for sale or just to visit and be surround by our feline friends. I think the place is charity-based so feel free to donate towards it.

I enjoyed stopping here for a quick visit. Some of the exhibits are pretty funny. My favorites were the cat drawings made by kids young and old.

I was also impressed that the cats in the museum are homeless and available for adoption. They average 7 adoptions per month. Nice to know that your admission charge is going to a worthwhile cause.

For 9 rubles one can spend an hour with the cats and have a coffee or tea. These cats are waiting to be adopted and are rather tame. At the time of my visit there are several newly born kittens which are super cute. Watching them playing with each other or with their own tails was a great delight. Good for both kids and adults. The lady who volunteers at the premise speaks good English.

The Cat Museum is a lovely place, quite unlike anywhere I've been before. You follow paw prints up some stairs and find yourself in a really charming little place. There's cat paintings along the walls (which you can buy if you like), there's a room where you can sit and play cat-themed games and a room where you are encouraged to draw pictures of cats (which are then taped to the walls, so you can see cat drawings from people of all ages all around the world). In all of these rooms, you will be visited by the Museum's "staff", a rotating team of furry feline friends. There's also a tea room where you can enjoy a drink (the cats aren't allowed in there).

I think the admission price is very fair, especially as it goes towards supporting the project. All of the cats are rescued (and up for adoption should you want to take any home - I really wish I could've!) and I think this is a lovely way to fund that and find homes for them. When I visited, there was a new litter of kittens too - who were absolutely adorable and very playful.

If you like cats, this is a delight to visit. If you don't, well, there's always the free tea and wi-fi! :)
