Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is great place to golf in the pickering area. The course is in great shape considering the hot summer. The employees are great. Would recommend to anyone who lives in the area great place to make some new friends.

Great course good service. Make sure you book the right course. I booked the longer Lake Breeze course which was way too hard for my golf abilities they nicely allowed me to play the par 3 course and refunded the difference. The conditions were great. Thank you for such a good day.

Love this course! As you know it has been super dry out and the course conditions are fantastic considering. The Lake Breeze course is very difficult but so fun for us more experienced golfers. If you are new or not very experienced try their other course which is a par 3 it is quite challenging for even a more experienced player like myself. The staff are absolutely lovely and always very helpful. It's really a hidden gem located in Ajax!

Great course, very friendly staff, and course was in very good condition. With Covid they made me feel very safe. Will definitely be back.

Staff at this otherwise very well kept golf course need to have customer service training 101 re-instated. Our foursome teed off for some twilight golf at 6:24 pm. The starter NEVER mentioned there was an 8pm curfew (as we would have chosen another venue). Despite paying full rates for golf, beer and carts, the Marshall approached us not once, not twice, BUT THREE TIMES to remind us he had to be home early!
In my forty plus years golfing all over the planet have I ever been warned to go home.....worse, my daughter-in-law was enjoying her first ever real golf experience and she was dissappointed by the constant interuption in our play. A warning to anybody planning to visit Carruther's Creek......DON'T. Go to nearby Seaton or Deer Creek.

Haven't golfed here recently but I recall it was quite inexpensive to golf 9 holes at Carruthr's Creek. Course is nicely laid out for novices and average golfers.
Nice walking the course as provides good exercise. What I like about Carruther's Creek is there is lots of parking available, unlike some other golf local golf courses. Staff are friendly, helpful and provide good tips to beginners like me. Clubhouse is nice and washrooms are clean. Makes such a big difference.
Nice that Ajax has five great golf courses - Carruther's Creek, Annandale,
Deer Creek, Riverside. and Fox Run.
Make sure you get your Bruce's Reward Card and phone in your reservation for a tee time for points. Makes golfing fun. Enjoy.

Have been playing golf at the 9 hole in Lake Breeze with work buddies for the past few weeks. The course is good for beginners and quite challenging. The staff are friendly and course is well maintained. It is on the pricier side and there is scope for improvement.

Took a group out for footgolf at Carruthers creek golf and country club and we had an amazing day. The staff at the club house we’re excellent and the footgolf itself was a barrel of laughs and good times we’re had by all. Footgolf can be played by all ages and no equipment is needed. The soccer ball can be rented for a nominal fee. Make this one to check out for sure footgolf is already quit popular in Europe so here’s to hoping it continues to grow in North America..

Enjoy the golf here. I generally use the tri-par course and quite like it for short iron improvement. Staff are helpful and friendly and the course is priced right for me anyway.
Nothing like a nice day on the golf course. Try it out. Although I have not played the longer course I hear good things from friends.

We do the short course Friday afternoons. We can walk it in an hour. Par 3 and 9 holes. Good practice course and it's a Pretty little course. The other side has a more challenging 9 holes and we do it in 2 hours with a cart. Lose some balls in the water features but fun nonetheless. If want to do 18 holes they charge double which isn't cool. They could do better with their snack bar - little choice and a small fortune. The patio could be remodelled and draw in some business but owners clearly not business minded. Too bad as great location.
