We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Parts of this is trail but some go through town also. Many bikers and walkers with dogs enjoy the trail so listen for them. There are some benches along the way. Google for websites to show where there is parking and maps (there are maps along the trail to show where you are). There are guide signs too along the trail.

Challenging hills, beautiful scenery, great path and wonderful ride. Sometimes signage was a puzzle but we figured it out

This is s beautiful state capital building. There is a free tour that was very informative. We were unable to tour the House chambers because they were working on the light fixtures. The rotunda, Senate and Supreme Court rooms were magnificent.

City Dwellers will feel graced after they visit this Facility. The air seems fresher, and is much nicer. Every visit, is better than the previous. A warm summer day is wonderful, only to be beaten by a clear crisp winter day. This goes Vice Versa too.!

Lovely narrow green space with asphalt paths along the river, just down the street from the Capitol building. Beautiful views of the bridges and what looked like an aqueduct. Nice place to cool off from the summer heat wave.

I am so in love with the Greenbelt and its diverse landscape. In fact, my husband proposed to me while on a bike ride near the gorgeous State Hospital grounds in the fall. The Greenbelt introduced us to bicycling and it is perfect for all levels of cyclists. I wish more people would embrace its beauty. It is absolutely wondrous there in the fall!

Its a good 20+ mile bike ride but the trail could be better marked. The first time we rode it we mad a few wrong turns. We know it well know and it helps. Gives you a bot of everything: urban, parks, wildlife preserve, etc.

A very cool and rather nice trail that winds around the city via parks and neighborhoods. Much is woodland-like and well-maintained. Other parts wander through leafy neighborhoods and re-claimed industrial areas going back to grassland and young woods.
Is almost all volunteer maintained. Will be even better in coming years but worth a walk now.
Very pleasant, but avoid after dark as crime in the city can be bad, such as assaults and muggings.

I love the paved trails and all the different parking places so you can check out all of the different sections. I wish there were more mileage markers... Some day I will make it the whole way around.. I believe it's 20 miles or so... It's a great tour of many different parts of Harrisburg! Plus the trail is paved for easy bike riding and safe running.

It is a great trail that is not always well marked. (Signage is better each year I have gone but it still lacking in several places.)

I have ridden it three times. I have figured out most of the twists and turns, except the Dept of General Services Complex turn. I always wind up going up the hill to the Pa Fish and Boat Commission.

I learned to cross straight across the street at Paxton. I also learned to turn left when you come to Derry (after crossing under the beltway. But I find it a challenge that is enjoyable. That's why I call it "exploring" in the city. I feel like an explorer in a strange land.

The ride it wonderful. There is asphalt, concrete, gravel, grass in a couple of areas. You go by city, docks and river frontage, cemeteries, Civil War sites, construction sites, rich houses, not so rich houses, industrial area, wildlife area. there is a little bit of everything, which makes it an interesting ride.

And at just 20+ miles you can do it easily in an afternoon. I rode a street bike and I think there was only one other. Most were hybrids or mountain or cruisers. But regardless of what bike you take, it is a really enjoyable ride. I highly recommend it. (Too long for kids unless they are accomplished riders.)
