    Just great
I will admit that some of my American friends from the east were making fun of me for staying in Omaha. Myself, I am so happy that I did not listen to them and that I stayed in town. The Old Market is as many here say a must see. Great shops, food, sweets, I even found a pinball museum. I felt like a big kid again. Also been a foreigner and out of town, I was greeted so often and when they heard where I live, the locals made me feel very welcome. Seriously, if you have the opportunity to visit Omaha, don't miss the Old Market. I was tempted to spend a fortune here. Luckily my credit card has a limit. Enjoy

    Amazing Patronage
Old Market is a trip back in time. Lots of brick on the buildings and on the streets. Other cities have comparable settings, but, perhaps not as popular as this one. I understand that Omahans fill the streets on Saturdays for months on end.

    Good shopping!
We enjoyed our time browsing around the Old Market District. We were fortunate that it was within walking distance of our hotel and it was nice to have it nearby. We spent one afternoon browsing the shops—there were so many fun local shops and local products, which we appreciated. We grabbed dinner at the Spaghetti Works, which is right in the Old Market District. It’s definitely worth planning a couple of hours, at least, to wander around this charming neighborhood if you find yourself in Omaha!

Great area of the city, lots of places to eat and little shops.
Great historic area with shops and lots of places for eating and drinking, cobblestone roads (don't wear heels, elderly beware!). Parking was very affordable. Staying at the Hyatt was a great location and it's a decent hotel, clean with no issues. I can imagine this place is very busy in the summer, In late October it was quite but all the shops seemed to still be open. I took off the one star only because of the homeless issues this area seems to be plagued with. It makes it less desireable of an area because of it and older reviews from as far back as 2015 suggest this has been a long going problem.

Best place in the city for dining
This is an outstanding location to walk around and dine which is very lively at night. Several high-end restaurants are located here and it’s definitely the place to go for lunch or dinner. Given that most of the restaurants are high end, it is recommended that reservations were made

    Check It Out
We walked around to check out the area on a mid-morning Saturday before having our lunch and were pleasantly surprised. They had a weekend market that was in full swing with plenty of local vendors, snacks, performers, etc. Great spot for people watching. I would definitely recommend that you stop in if you have the time.

Old Market is an eclectic shopping and dining area. The buildings are all a century old, lending it an aura of authenticity. There's a range of stores and restaurants ranging from fairly high-end boutiques and restaurants to dive bars and inexpensive retail. The result is a visitor mix that is neither too bougie nor too gritty. That said, it's pretty limited and not very scenic with the exception of the verdant Old Market Alleyway.

Walked through on a Sunday afternoon. Mainly pubs, restaurants, and shops. Nightlife looks like it would be fun atmosphere.

Was there for a night out with my wife. There were several groups of rough looking young men roaming around, openly smoking pot in public, making a lot of noise. We walked past what really looked like a drug deal going down. In short, we did not feel safe and left instead of going for a drink after dinner.

Omaha needs to police this area better, especially with the new park areas, or it is going to go downhill very fast. Still, there are many establishments there...M's Pub, Blue, Boiler Room, etc. that are excellent! I would rate them separately much higher.

This is a great part of town. The old buildings have been preserved and now hold shops, restaurants, and taverns. Beware of the parking police waiting for meters to expire. There are however, parking lots that allow parking for a full day for a very, very low cost.

Not sure what I'm reviewing here, I assume it's the old market AREA, which has a variety of shops & restaurants. It's not all touristy - there is a good used bookstore, among other things.

Our visit was okay. I didn’t find a lot to do within my interests. I had lunch and explored a few shops. The buildings were really pretty.

Nice area. You can spend a whole day here. Prices are typical, nice shops and restaurants. Me and my wife enjoyed walking the streets and shopping. Stopped in at Jams for lunch. Really liked this area. Plenty of parking and something for everyone. The shops have some cool stuff. A little pricey but expected for the area. Still bought some really cool hard to find stuff.

We visited the area but noticed most of the businesses were dining establishments. Yes, there were other types of business but mostly dining. We did like looking at all the old buildings and driving on the brick roads.
