Too many people
6/2020
I went early in June. The falls of course were not magnificent. But the crowds of people made me wonder why I came to Yosemite in the first place. This trail is just a walk in the park. Any grandma can do it. It is just a 5 minute nature walk from the main road. Don't stand close to the falls because there are many people there and you may slip. Would not recommend.

IF YOU GO IN AUGUST, USE YOUR IMAGINATION
8/2020
To be clear, when the falls are flowing, this place gets excellent reviews. However, we were there in early August for our second visit. Both times, the falls were bone dry (at least these Yosemite falls, which are the most popular). So, don't go in the summer if you want to really enjoy these spectacular double falls. That said, even in summer, it's a nice way to walk without really hiking closer (unless you would like). Many visitors make the hike to either Lower or Upper Yosemite just to get a closer view (wet or dry). In the summer, it's nice and shady. Just remember to use your imagination!

Nice fall with some mist
7/2019
The lower Yosemite fall is a more popular attraction among tourist as it is easily accessible by people of all ages. It has good walking road leading to the fall and the distance from the Yosemite village is 1 mile. People do go down to the base of the fall for shower. Our casual walk took us about an hour from the village and to return. There are good shuttle services running that bring you from visitor center and stop at 7 and follow the signs. It is easy and worth doing.

Nice walk
6/2019
It's an easy trail, 1.6 km loop, you can finish it within 1 hour, can have a close view of the Lower falls, can also see the Upper falls at some points, the trail also has some board/explanation which is informative. it's worth to walk the trail Be aware that you may get wet when you are near the falls

OH YEAH

Sometimes icy, Don't go in winter. You will love the mist there, it'slike a really strange shower. Don't go at fall either, barely any water left, no mist.

A Nice and Easy Hike
2/2020
You can start hike this short distance of one mile and see three falls. When there is enough rain, the falls will spray a lot of water. The hike is short, easy and rewarding. The trail is paved and you can stop at any point to take pictures. Well, any point that is safe. It was so crowded when we went. We got to see the falls from many different angles.

Most popular hike
2/2020 • Soolomatka
This one is super easy and super accessible therefore in my opinion the most popular hike trail in the valley. There's a big car park and shuttle bus stop 6 takes you to the lower falls trail. The lower falls is an impressive cascade falling relentless and a great place to take memorable pictures. Expect lots of people.

Go clockwise
2/2020
Excellent short walk. We did it 2 days in a row, views are better if you go clockwise from the shuttle bus drop off area. BTW, from the bridge viewing area, you can go up along the river on the left side to the base of the falls and see the upper falls too.

An easy trail to a nice waterfall
8/2019
The lower Yosemite fall is 98 meters high, the lower part of a higher waterfall. The walking trail from the Visitor Center to the fall is very easy and convenient.
