Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is kind of a tourist trap. Fighter are not this good, and it was very expensive to enter. Thai people are free!!!! I will never go again and cannot recommand anyone to spend so much money

INCREDIBLY EXPENSIVE. Even compared to UK prices this place is so expensive for food and drinks.

The ticket price for the fights was OK and included being collected from our hotel.

The atmosphere was great, very friendly and welcoming and everyone behaves with huge respect for one another.

I went in 7 oct expecting a watered down exhibition style fight evening. There 5 knock outs / TKOs, they proper went at each other. Very entertaining and, despite being expensive by Thai standards, very good value for money in VIP seats

I enjoyed this experience very much. It was well organised and we watched 6 matches.
There are a few seedy bars outside the stadium to grab a drink before going in,however there is a bar inside the stadium and drinks delivered to your seat.
3 different seating options. I think you get a great view and experience for all of options.
The cheapest seats are sitting on concrete stairs with a good view. We opted for the next option of ringside seats with a proper chair and a table for drinks.
The most expensive option was large couches with tables. I was happy with the middle priced seating option we chose.
We had a fantastic view of the matches and all the introductions were in English.
The hall was warm even with the air con but getting drinks bright too the tables helped.
Surprised that the ladies toilets were nice as well.
Overall a great night out to view some good matches and soak up a different culture.

It was VERY hot in the evening. They sell drinks - take advantage of this. You can go 'vip' or cheap seats - we were in the cheap ones as we wanted the full experience and it was fine. Its an insight into the culture .

Never been tro such a bad stadium to watch Thai boxing...a waste of money!

Previously, I was never interested in muay thai boxing or had seen a fight before, but our stay on Koh Samui was coming to an end and after seeing/hearing the advertising for a few days we decided to give it a try.
The atmosphere inside the stadium is quite interesting - you can drink and smoke inside and overall the atmosphere felt a little like attending backyard fights. As odd as it may seem, I really liked it.
The fights were okay - some of the fighters were just kids, so obviously no blood or knock-outs. Still, it was a good night to remember!

The most central of the 3 main Muay Thai stadiums on Samui. Located in the middle of the Chaweng nightlife, at the end of the Soi Solo, otherwise famous for its lively gay bars, Israeli restaurants and massage parlours, everyone mixing happily. 6 fights usually, every Tuesday and Friday at 9 pm, some opposing foreign and local boxers, good to very good levels, friendly crowd, boisterous in the blue corner, where the locals and some foreigners are betting. Exciting atmosphere, bar and sheesha pipes available

If you want to see real Muay Thai go to the 2 stadiums which will give you just that . As a former fighter I can only sing the praises of the quality of the fighters that come to samui from all over the world to compete against the legends the thai boxers . Most of which have fought in the stadiums in bkk . You will not be disappointed.a big cheer for my camp Superpro .
