Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The quirky world of Jara Cimerman is a quizzical room of obfuscated enigmas woven with mysteries and magic. There is nothing this fictious character can't do or know and his range of memorabilia will either astound or bemuse you.

Invented by Zdeněk Svěrák in '67 the faceless JC embodies all things great and is perhaps a source of inspiration for the nation to also follow suit. Also known as 'The Master', his presence is reverberated around theatres and play houses across the country, appropriately so, given his omnipresence in innumerable professional fields. Being portrayed as a mathematician, playwrite, poet, sportsman, detective, teacher, philosopher, inventor and much more, you could be coaxed into thinking he was a Czech superhero.

It would he advised to acquire some background knowledge beforehand in order to bring the exhibits to life. The displays will still probably leave you a little agog whilst their primary aim is to amuse and admire.

The outlook tower above the Jara Cimrman museum attests sweeping views south of the town. Once you've climbed its spiraling stairway you can walk 360 degrees and note the direction in which world class cities point.

In winter it's frigid and the holes in the framework won't welcome you up there for long, especially how it can get a bit cramped with more than half a dozen people. Note the black and white photographs taken from some Czech TV stations and take a pair of gloves during the colder months of the year. Enter the structure via the main entrance to the museum and tack this on to your itinerary.

Tickets to the museum cost 45 Kč (1.50 GBP) and allow you to scale the modern metal viewing tower located in the centre of the museum itself.

Very nice view, outlook from the tower to countryside. It will be a historical important sightseeing. I recommend to visit it as soon as possible and repeat a visit every future year. There is a museum of Mr. Zimmerman, too.

Nice observation tower with small funny museum of Jara Cimrman.
Suggest to visit tower on sunny day because you will get much better view to further places.
