Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Benoit R1 contributionHaving visited Erawan multiple times (both Roppongi and Akasaka), I can confidently say it's one of the best place for massage in Tokyo. The staff is always welcoming and attentive, ensuring each session is tailored to my needs. The Thai massage is consistently top-notch, leaving me feeling rejuvenated and relaxed every time. Clean facilities and a serene ambiance add to the overall experience. Highly recommend!Written 11 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

I was able to book in advance my messaging them on the google app. Super simple. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep within five minutes of the treatment starting, but even in that short time, I could feel the harmonious energy of the Fivelements Metal • Wood • Water • Fire • Earth.
After experiencing burnout for the past two months, this spa session truly helped me regain my sense of self.Written 28 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. My daughter had the conditioning facial which she thoroughly enjoyed. I had the 60 minute hot stone and wax with Ana. First of all the wax for my face didn’t hurt. I usually get threaded and haven’t waxed my face in years. Ana was very gentle and my results were great. My hot stone massage was amazing. From all the walking we had done all over Tokyo this was a much needed massage. Highly recommend this salon when in Tokyo.Written 9 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Scenic376670200531 contributionThis is new place but excellent massage.

The young ladies working the front were so unfriendly, no smiles, just cold glares. I could not understand because we don't have any tattoos or piercings and we were quite and respectful. Baths inside were nice but the dressing room was too small. We left feeling very unwelcome. We travel a lot and have been to many bath houses and have never been treated so coldly. On the same trip, we went to Arashiyama Onsen near Kyoto and received super service. The visit to Shimizu yu was a low point of our trip to Japan. I do not recommend this place to foreign visitors to Japan, sad because I was really looking forward to it when I read about it before coming from the US。外国人にはお勧めできません。外国人が嫌なら、はっきり「外国人お断り」とはっておけばいいじゃないですか? 本当にがっかりしました。日本旅行中、嫌な思いをたっだ一度したところです。Written 19 June 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - susan pCalifornia21 contributionsTowards the end of our two week stay in the amazing country that is Japan, I knew it was time for my husband and I to wrap up our trip with a massage. I wisely investigated “best of” selections and even more wisely selected the Mizuki Spa based on the photos of the magnificent views from the massage rooms. Little did I know that would be but one of the many fine features that awaited us.
Fortunately, we arrived early enough at sunset to enjoy a cocktail in the Conrad Hotel lounge situated in the lobby, one floor below the spa, which if I recall correctly is on floor 28 so provides breathtaking views of the city. We arrived at the spa at the requested one hour prior to appointment, where we were each escorted to the male/female locker rooms. Lush towels and robes were provided p, however, neither was necessary to enjoy the jacuzzi (four individual ones grouped together in the women’s area) and steam room, each of which I luxuriated in prior to a refreshing cold shower, then lounged awaiting my therapist.
The room was exactly as pictured and the massage invigorating. My therapist was skilled and pleasant the 90 minutes. I was reunited with my husband afterwards in a lounge where we were provided further comfort on plush lounge chairs and blankets while served hot tea and a light dessert. I couldn’t think of a better way to complete our Japanese journey.Written 5 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
