Best thing to do on Anacapri. Very fun ride up and down on a 1 seat chairlift. Amazing views of Capri and the Bay. You’re able to walk around at different vantage points and trails.

The Faraglioni are arguably the most famous symbol of Capri. There are quite a few viewpoints from the island to see them such as the Monte Solaro and the Augusto Gardens. You can also get up close to them with a boat tour around the island. I think that's the best way to see them.

Close to the centre of Anacapri, this museum is a fascinating and beautiful place to visit. The former residence of the late Axel Munthe, the Swedish physician, author, animal lover, philanthropist et al, it is beautifully preserved and provides a wonderful insight into his life and times.
The gardens are magnificent and the views, spectacular.
    A must visit.

These gardens are not expensive, 2 Euros. You have to pay at a machine to get in. But the view of the coast and Faraglioni rocks are so nice. You can also see the footpath Via Krupp from the top. It has pretty gardens to walk through & is near the Charterhouse of St James.

An easy walk from the bus stop, this church provides an unusual artistic experience to the viewer. Generally one looks at the walls or ceiling of a church, but here it's the floor which is completely covered in ceramic tile. The tile shows the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve, and dozens of animals. You walk along a narrow boardwalk to take in the details and then up to the choir loft to see a panoramic view. There is a very modest entrance fee. Cash only.

Stunning location, can either walk from Capri along the Krupp path - great going down but need to be fit to walk back up. 3-4 bleach clubs. Cheapest is 30 euros for sunbed and 15 euros for umbrella . Average 35 euros per sun bed. Restaurants and snack bars … bring money and a fair bit of it! Small free beach but rocky and pebbles and gets busy. Beach clubs either small pebble beach or into the sea off the small walkways.
Nice watching the big Yatchs and boats and people coming back and forth to go to the restaurants

The best way to see the blue grotto is to get there early. You should take the first ferrys from wherever you're staying around 8:00. You should then take the first boat tour right from the marina at Capri that goes around the island. Otherwise, you may have to wait up to 2 hours or more during the high season and anyway the bigger boat tours only wait a maximum of 45 minutes and skip it otherwise. The other important thing to note is that its actually closed due to high sea level more often than not. I experienced that the boat tour ticket agents never give you straight answer on whether or not it's expected to be open or closed for the day you want, even on the morning of, where they should have a good idea about the tides. You also have to pay 18 EUR to enter, which I think is quite a lot for spending just a couple of minutes inside. So decide for yourself if you think it's worth it and the important thing is to get there early.

Via Krupp reopened in summer 2023 and is a "must do"..
The road was built by the German industrial magnate of the same name so he could get down to Marina Piccolo.
There is a 100 meter height difference between the beginning at Giardino Augusto and down to the sea.
The road is free and illuminated in the evening.

We went into the cave during a boat tour around the island. The way the light enters the cave gives the lovely green color to the walls of the cave. The color of the water is also very nice. You can also swim here if you come by some of the more private boat tours from Sorrento (and I think from Capri as well).

This 1 person chairlift goes to the top a Monte Solaro, the highest point on Capri.
I was honestly a little nervous as I rattled off, but the view calmed my nerves.
From the mountain you have a view both of the Bay of Naples, with the islands of Ischia and Prcida to the north, and to the south you can see Marina Piccola on Capri and the three cliffs - I Faraglioni, and the Gulf of Salerno.
In high season there is a bar on the mountain.
The trip is absolutely worth the 14 euros (ticket 2023)

Ok, my TripAdvisor gays: this is a must-see Villa and historical site. It was built by a gay French man who relocated to Capri, Jacques d’Adelswärd-Fersen, and died in 1923. Read about him on Wikipedia before arriving to the villa.

The villa’s location is exquisite, a 35-minute walk up the hill from Capri town. But once you arrive, you’re transported to another era. The Villa is neoclassical in style. With no furnishings, it’s hard to imagine what it must have been liked to live there, but what is nice are pictures in various rooms. In the main level are pictures of Jacques and his lover/partner, Nino Cesarini, who was a stunning younger man. One picture shows him modeling for a Greek statue. On the lower level are photographs of famous gay people from the period, including Oscar Wilde.

The views from the Villa are stunning: of the Sorrento peninsula and of Marina Grande. Truly one of a kind views.

The cost is only €1.50 to visit the villa, which you buy via a machine onsite. And again, my gays, this is a must visit!
