Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- 917SaraLeeds, England, United Kingdom5 contributionsWhat ab amazing place to have a party. The instructors were fantastic. They were so good with the children and made the day run smoothly & made sure they had lots of fun. We did slip and slide and go karts. All the children loved it. Great hot showers after and a lovely room to eat party food in. We would love to come back!Written 23 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

There were hundreds of stalls selling clothes, food, drinks, artefacts, giving advice and information. Big names including Macka B, played for free. There were children entertainments including rides and the normal play area where I spent many a good times was also available. I travelled round the park looking at stalls and greeting old friends. On Bank Holiday Monday I was there again. This time to take in the troupes and floats getting ready for carnival. I had missed Jouvert Morning, Pre Carnival because I was fast asleep but I enjoy walking round the streets and park before the main event. I then went to visit some old friends and went back to the park after the last float had left to go on it's 3 hour route. The atmosphere was electric with hundreds of people going back to the park or going to meet the parade along the route. we walked up to Chapeltown road and waited for the parade to come. we then followed it back into Potternewton Park, steel bands, sound systems, soca, reggae, beautiful costumes, dancers, a sea of colour along Harehills Avenue. Back in the Park I went to watch the troupes on stage and then wandered around till 7pm. Tired, I went visiting again and back to the hotel, once again passing the park which was being vacated by the revellers. On the other side of the road, individuals were selling food, clothes, artefacts and playing music outside their homes. Once again Potternewton Park where I spent nine happy years, sitting on the hill watching the boys play football, courting, writing in my diaries provided me with a good time and plenty to write about. Next morning I walked along Harehills Avenue. It was cleanup time. I visited my old home near the park and then walked around the park to see evidence of the previous 2 days' merrymaking.Written 31 August 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Emma H3 contributionsMy daughter and myself took my grandson last week on arriving my daughter asked if they were still serving food time was 1.20 a reasonable time for lunch. She was met with a rude reception the lady saying yes but we’ve got limited stock. We sat down and on the two times that I went to order was met with a frosty reception. I’d love to know which charm school they went to 😂😂 . We will return as my grandson loves it however we will eat before we go.Written 23 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
