Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very good escape room, actors played their parts well. Played the abducted room, on softcore. Reece was very helpful and provided great service!

Kids had a great time, fab place to burn some energy off.
Came on training day from school, £6 per child and 3 hrs is fab
Kids loved the slushy refills too.

Great fun and a more unique concept compared to the other escape rooms available in Leeds. A shout out to Teddy who was accommodating after we were late due to taxis, and his brilliant sense of humour in character added quality to the experience.

We did the outdoor option, a group of 10yr old girls and two parents. Bob set the scene very well, and gave plenty of hints when we got stuck. Worked really well for a small party group, highly recommended.

So many good games. We went in school holidays which meant it was very busy. The only games we really had to wait for though was house of the dead and the VR. Was plenty to play, great value for money and the bar was decent too.

Went to a chocolate session last week with my husband.
We got to decorate a day of the dead skull as well as make 12 of our own filled chocolates. The host was very knowledgeable and explained every step clearly. The packaging to transport everything home in was a nice touch too. A lovely evening out.

What a well laid out place. The routes and grades were well thought out and consistent. Most of the routes required a bit of thought which adds to the challenge. The staff are friendly and if you have a problem on a route, they are more than happy to give you some tips. I will come back there soon!

My daughter of 13 & her friend of 10 came along on Sunday for 2 x 15 min drive with an interval at £25 pp. They received an induction re rules & safety before allowed on the track. Their group was mainly children apart from 3 dads which wasn't a problem for us but maybe for others. There is a cafe & seating area downstairs which in the past used to be upstairs but now is a lot better. Good all round indoor track, have also attended parties here which have also been good.

After a few years of bouldering and following an ACL injury and surgery I had the opportunity to get some coaching sessions 1-2-1 from Andy at CityBloc. I’ve never met a person more suited and amazing at coaching! After my injury/surgery I became more fearful when climbing and this impacted my climbing ability greatly. Andy was amazing at helping build my confidence and within a few sessions got me climbing higher grades faster than I would have ever progressed in my own. He also helped me read routes better, and rectify some bad climbing habits I had developed over the years. Massive thanks to Andy! Highly recommend 1-2-1 sessions with him. I’ve also seen the value in getting coaching at the beginning of anyone’s bouldering journey. Get those good habits in from the start.

I’ve been to a number of Escape rooms around Yorkshire so am pretty experienced.

The first thing to mention is the price. It’s by far the cheapest escape room experience that I’ve come across locally.

The place itself is very nice. It’s modern, it’s clean, it has a nice vibe. There’s a bar as soon as you walk in with a lovely seating area.

I had a go at the Sherlocked in room and I’m going to be mindful about giving anything away about the room which might spoil your experience. What I will say is, if you’re after an experience which is just opening lock after lock, then this isn’t it. It was far from that. It was more of a “who dunnit” type cluedo room which took some thinking and working out. Personally, I like that. It’s challenging and that’s what I want from my experience. The room was decent, the few locks that are in the room are simple enough to use and it’s not so challenging that you can’t work it out from what you’ve got in front of you.

The only downside to the experience was the personal touch. Every other escape room has a gamesmaster who will look after you, explain the room, give you clues, etc. and I felt that the personal touch was missing a little bit. You are literally just taken to the room and you watch a video rather than go through an official safety briefing. I didn’t mind, but I feel that if it’s your first time doing an escape room, you might wonder what on Earth is going on. It’s much better when the gamesmaster talks you through it and gets you hyped up!

Again, at the end, when we escaped, the door simply opened onto a corridor and we had to wait for someone to come to us. There were no photographs or anything like that. Just given a card with 20% off the next visit and we were shown the door.

Overall, I did like the experience. I would go back because I liked the quality of the room. I just feel that it needs a bit more of a personal touch too.
