Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Hazel KWilmslow, UK94 contributionsLoved this market over and above the main Olivar market. It just felt more authentic and a bit rough around the edges. Plenty to see and experience in there and a good selection of places selling drinks and racions (portions) of superfresh produce and goods.
Go here and get a taste of real Palma.Written 20 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Frank Geisler 🇨🇭Zurich, Switzerland13,258 contributionsThis was our third visit of the Sineu market.
It is always worth a visit because find anything: food, fruits, cheese, olive oil, clothing, leather wear, toys and so on.
As usual we bought (and negotiated heavily) some nice souvenirs and more.

- Abi CLondon, UK5 contributionsFabulous food and fresh fayre - love to just wander or buy. Also more artisan crafts in the square- great to shop around the stalls and also in the shops - east to get the bus in to town if you are at the coastWritten 18 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BridgeLondon, UK6 contributionsSurprisingly good Sunday market, twenty minutes from Palma. Only 5 euros 40 so definitely the cheapest most efficient way to get there. Two trains an hour.
Bought a jean jacket for €20, half a manchego cheese for €6, kilo of gordal olives for €11 and three kinds of paprika and half a sobrasasa. Loads of delicious fruit and veg on offer which just inspired you to cook some magnificent meals in your imaginary villa that you bought around the corner. Most places go for over a million euros…
Felt like a really local place for Spaniards to have a pastry, tapas and glass of wine or beer. Nice trip out from Palma. Do it!Written 10 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The selection of goods was a bit better than average though this is not one of the world's bigger markets. It is full of tourists when it is open on Saturdays. Nonetheless the town of Soller is charming and the market is worth a visit.Written 13 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
