Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Worth a visit, but don't expect to see many wild animals. There are some good, fairly short, easy walks through the bush, and two very nice beaches. The beaches can be rather crowded on weekends in the summer. I read some negative vews about the restaurant, but I have been there 3 times, and found the food great, the service OK, and the prices reasonable. The situation, right on the beach, is priceless! Easy bus or car ride from Cala d'Or, and there is parking.

Very nice farm. A super friendly staff. It is really worth to visit the farm and learn about these big birds.

We hired some bikes from the hotel to come through here. A big park with good signage throughout to guide you round on the cycle paths. Some are smooth and some a little bumpy. Very peaceful and plenty to see. It is inland, sheltered from breezes so be prepared on a hot day.

Marvellous day out with stunning beaches and amazing landscape. On the boat trip from Colonia de Sant Jordi you get around 4-5 hours free time in Cabrera. Don't miss the views from the castle, but otherwise just head to the beaches, which are the highlight of Cabrera. The views from anywhere on the island are just stunning and the stop at the Blue Cave on the boat trip on the way back to Mallorca is wonderful.
Make sure you take food and LOTS of water because there is only one bar on the whole island and they don't offer very much. It it always feels hotter on Cabrera than on Mallorca so make sure you have hat, sun cream and water. Wear comfy shoes for walking because the pathways are very rocky and uncomfortable on the feet.

The walk is lovely and also the waterfalls However the road to the entrance is terrible full of potholes and could damage your car. Food was ok but the bird show no longer exists. Nice day out but the steps are dangerous so be careful and wear good shoes

A medium intensity hike (eg route 3, approx 10km) will already take you to amazing views (Mallorca’s east coast, distant Menorca, and, depending on the route, Mallorca’s North-West coast). Parking: road from Artà to Ermita de Betlem until you see signs of the Parc (then simply follow the signs).

Lovely walk through the nature reserve north of Cala Ratjada. The climb to the ruin of the watchtower Talaia de Son Jaumell (278m) is strenuous, the descend to the "Caribbean-style" beach of Cala Mesquida is very steep and not for the faint-hearted. It is very sad to see how some people have no respect for the nature and common areas. Signposts have been graffitied and vandalised, rubbish dumped and people's feces and toilet paper right at the walking track. If you prefer to have a more relaxed walk, then just take the track straight through the pine wood.

Quite pretty looking, if a lot touristy, this place has a surprisingly good fish chef; his sea bream was excellent as was the salmon. Well worth stopping at. However, don't ruin your meal with one of their desserts. Theres a gelateria down the street. Get an ice cream there and you'll enjoy the taste of the fish so much more.

Absolutely incredible and a must visit location if it has recently rained. Seeing a huge river magically come out of the ground has to be seen to be believed. Bizarre not to see this listed in English guides like Lonely Planet.

We made nice visits to the reserve though signposting is poor. We managed to get round most of the trails and hides. Great viewing of lagoons, lots of birds though summer maybe not the best time. Butterflies and dragonflies and so many different plants. Surprisingly peaceful, very enjoyable.

Worth looking carefully at the map before setting off and perhaps using two evenings to visit different parts of the site.
