Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Make sure you are fit and able if you are walking this, brilliant experience but god was i tired when i reached the top, only to have to get back down after! you can take a bus up to the top but part of the experience I feel is walking it. Lovely views of Bologna at the top. Toilets and a water the top.

This place reminded me of a cross between Piccadilly Circus because of the street performers and Oxford Circus because of the shopping and restaurants off the alleys! Although this is more historical and picturesque

Great panorama over the city, plain facade but a wow inside. You can also see the courtyard and a few frescoes that are actually now part of the adjoining orthopedic hospital

This street now has a tribute to John Lennon based on the song Imagine. Walking up and down brought back fond memories of this song and visiting the street, which is very close to Piazza Maggiore is worthwhile. There are interesting shops, cafes and restaurants along the way. The text of the song lights up at night.

A really nice day stroll, the road is full of small shops, local food places and aperitivo diners. Great for your daily steps - day or night

Interesting street that runs perpendicular to via dell'Independenza. There are a number of smaller restaurants, shops, and bars. Where it intersects with via Galiera you will find Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore just one more street over to the south.

Via Del Porto is a great street. We especially liked the Mambo Art museum and great central location! Nice park at the end as well and a handy farmer’s market nearby.

Small piazza in due south of Basilica di San Petrino and is where you find the Galluzzi Tower, one of 20 noble towers that remain standing in Bologna. The tower dates back to the 13th-century and is 30 metres in height. There is a historic Oratorio di San Giovanni Battista dei Fiorentini. There are several trattoria and eateries nearby as well.
