Tripadvisorās approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Cynthia FFair Lawn, NJ2,361 contributionsBeautiful sculpture, frescoes, paintings in this church.
Stunning chapel down a flight of stairs behind the building. Staircase is on the right side of the building, when facing the building.
So worth a visit if you're nearby. Many popular restaurants in the neighborhood, as well as lots of street artWritten 24 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 545medvaBudapest, Hungary3,972 contributionsOne of the oldest churches in the city. It was built in the 11th century. You must be lucky to get in, three times we were there was closed. It is in the very busy part of Milan.Written 10 November 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Lynette R3 contributionsA fantastic art space featuring emerging artists from Italy and around the globe. Hip, creative, and a keen eye for what is trending in the art world. A great place to find a new piece of art, or just see what is happening with contemporary artists in this welcoming and friendly space where art is appreciated and approachable..Written 1 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Unlike many Italian cities which are just awesome artefacts, this city is constantly developing new areas. One of the is city life the Mall itself is not so interesting as far as the shops are concerned however the appartments around it as well as the park are great. - Alessandro FMilan, Italy26,346 contributionsBaroque architecture
Beautiful seventeenth-century building in the center of Milan, the State Railways have finally left (although they remain the owners) to give way to a more appropriate regional headquarters for Cultural Heritage and tourism in Lombardy.
The palace has an important portal with two giants, in the style of the Omenoni palace, which support the convex balcony. Corinthian-style columns run from the first floor to the third floor.
Above, the attic gable (completion wall element) with two statues supporting the coat of arms of the Litta family, one of the illustrious families of the Milanese aristocracy

There are over 2000 pieces on display, in rooms with frescoes dating from the Sforza (1450-1535) and Spanish periods (1559-1707).
There are several masterpieces on display, such as:
- The Ducal Chapel
- Several memorials, the most beautiful (according to me) the Gaston de Foix memorial,
the Equestrian monument of BernabĆ² Visconti, the Sepulchral monument of Regina della Scala,
- Several tapestries, and the huge 16th century Banner of the City of Milano,
- a huge collection of Lombard Romanesque art,
- the armory, with various armors and a selection of white and firearms from the late Middle Ages to the 18th century
- The "Sala delle Asse", frescoed by leonardo da Vinci, currently under restoration and only partially visible)Written 7 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RazorfishLittle Rock, AR3,866 contributionsMy wife and I walked by the Chiesa di San Marco during our visit to Milan this past August. I photographed the exterior of the church but it was not until recently that I found out about its history which was unknown to me. The buildingās construction began in 1254. It is the second largest church in Milan next to the Duomo. Mozart has a connection to the church having played the organ while residing for three months in the monastery. Verdi gave his first performance of the Requiem in this church. It also has a number of beautiful old frescoes. These facts were unknown to us at the time we visited Milan last summer.Written 21 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jeff lSausalito, CA78 contributionsWe always shop for wine at the Enoteca Vinicola Rotondi during our frequent visits to Milano. The owner and his family are friendly and highly knowledgeable about wines and spirits. The broad selection of Italian wines include selections from every region including smaller but first class producers. We just consumed a unique and delicious bottle of Pinot Noir from the Val D'Aosta recommended by the proprietor. Located in Isola at Piazzale Lagosta, no wine lover should pass up the chance to shop in this delightful store.Written 23 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
