Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a great place for champagne lovers. There is a wide range of champagnes to suit al tastes and the staff will advise on ones to suit your preferences. I was travelling alone and the man in charge helped me to select wisely from the range of champagnes by the glass. Another plus is that they specialise in smaller houses so that you will sample some brands that you may never have heard of before.

This wine bar takes advantage of its basement / cellar location and uses furnishings well to create a really warm ambiance. The ambiance is somewhat spoiled by the choice of music, however. The slightly too loud rap they were playing the night I was there just did not work for a wine bar. The selection of snacks is small and pretty unimaginative, but high quality. The wine by the glass is also high quality. I like really big, gutsy reds and often find that Brussels wine bars offer nothing that really matches my taste in their wines by the glass. Not so here. The St Joseph was a stunning wine. Service is attentive. I will return.

Perfect place in Brussels' city centre for an intimate evening with someone you love. The wine isn't great, but the cocktails are good and the seating and ambiance are perfect.

We were a group to go to the "Vin Sur Wijn" before heading off to a show. The service was really nice and efficient, the Prosecco was agreeable, they served some little snacks quite good and tasty. All in all, a good experience.

Visited here after dinner with family. Nice selection of wines and appetizers. All reasonably priced. Was very crowded inside, but a table freed up just as we entered. Fun atmosphere.

We stumbled upon Piola Piccola at rue du Fort while walking in the lively Saint-Gilles neighbourhood of Brussels. As the name indicates, it is the little sister of Piola Libri, an Italian second-hand book shop-cum-café in the European district we know well. On a Saturday afternoon, the small café was so busy we had to come back an hour later to be able to roam through the books while having an espresso. Of course, we left with a book!
