Overall a strong and positive experience, though not without some small imperfections. The performers and performances were great. If it was just them, I'd give the overall experience 5 bubbles. The show was a good mix of tourist-friendly silliness and educational notes about Polynesian history. Really liked the show.
The team leads for the staff obviously knew what they were doing and did their best to run a tight ship, but some of the staff just were not up to snuff. Food was sometimes taken from us while we were still eating, requests were forgotten. The food itself was slightly better than I expected from something of this scale.
I know it can't be helped, but about that scale: it's just a little too big. If you go, definitely spring from the pricier tables that are closer to the performance. But even without that consideration, I think this would be more fun if you weren't one of ~400 people watching the show.
Oh and others have noted, be prepared to be staring directly into the sun for the first hour or so of the show.
