Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Jennifer HIssaquah, WA5 contributionsWent for an amazing bike ride, but now I want to go back and hike some of the trails. Scenery is stunning and the park is not too far from the strip.Written 14 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sue VWhitstable, UK226 contributionsWe went to the lower canyon and our guide Alisa (Ala?). She was wonderful, very knowledgeable and helpful, making sure she answered all our questions and got some great photos. Although the sun didn’t shine into the canyon for us, it was spectacular and we didn’t find the steps and narrow sections too challenging.Written 18 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jim KShawnee, KS268 contributionsThe stop was simply amazing. I’ve been to the Grand Canyon several times. The view from the summit overlooking this Canyon in Kauai was one of the more breathtaking views I have ever seen.
From the rich vegetation, various shades of vegetation and rock, as well as the cliff formations and the waterfall, made this a surprisingly outstanding visit.
After you leave the park, go down to the village of Waimea and stop at Coconut Corner for a fantastic smoothieWritten 16 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable about the canyon, she helped everyone with taking great photos. She also took some breathtaking photos of each group or couple. Overall, we feel that this tour was our favorite. I recommend anyone in Page AZ take the tour. Nadine is a great asset to Dixie Antelope Tour Company.Written 15 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bonnie MGrand Rapids, MI185 contributionsWe visited Hoover Dam 16 years ago and the bypass was being built then. We were excited to come back to discover that we could walk across the bypass and see spectacular views of Hoover Dam! Great job on the walkway up to the bypass and all the information about the construction of it. We would recommend checking it out when you are visiting the Dam!Written 10 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Julie QMidland, Canada14 contributionsI can't even begin to say how utterly amazed we were by this attraction! My husband and I went on a road trip to Cleveland, Nashville, Memphis, New Orleans and Florida. While in Florida we were told about Luray Caverns by a friend. I wasn't looking forward to going over the mountains on our way home to Ontario. We'd done them quite a few times already and as beautiful as they I just wanted something different. This route was a very nice break from the freeways and transports and just as beautiful. Luray Caverns is so well done and not expensive at all. Two seniors cost $34.00 each and a discount for CAA/AAA members. These Caverns are wheel chair accessible and have a nice wide walkway paved with interlocking brick and nice sturdy railings on both sides. It's a 1.25 mile walk but I was so enthralled at each turn that it didn't seem that long. There are a few uphill grades but plenty of room to just stop and rest and stand in awe of such natural beauty! I have nothing negative to say about Luray Caverns! We would definitely go back and absolutely recommend it to friends. There's also a giant maze and things for kids to do to make a fun day of it as well as a car museum and a lovely gift shop. These Caverns should be considered as one of the world wonders!!Written 12 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MikeJennyQOnalaska, WI985 contributionsA must see for any outdoors folks. - chl0e48Minneapolis, MN194 contributionsSabino Canyon is a wonderful, but very popular, natural area near Tucson. There is an entrance fee, but a National Parks Pass gets you in for free. At the base there is a giftshop, info area and restrooms. There are lots of varied hiking trails and a tram that can just provide a leisurely tour of the area or take you closer to some of the trails. The stream through the canyon can be bone dry or a raging torrent blocking the roads after a strong rain. At busy times the parking lot can be full but there is an overflow lot just up the road.Written 13 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lisa VSan Diego, CA93 contributionsCanyonlands has three distinct areas: Island in the Sky, the Maze, and Needles. Today we toured and hiked Island in the Sky.
Drive north on 191 to the Canyonlands turnoff on the west side of 191. At this intersection there is a fun stop for children; I don't know exactly what is entailed but I can say there are several wonderful dinosaur sculptures on the grounds.
Drive about 20 miles with scenic vistas on either side of the road. Watch for cows...this is open range which means the cows are on a walkabout.
There's a short hike at the Visitor Center, pay your fee and get a brochure. A short ways in is the Maze hike and overlook. Short, easy for anyone including wheelchair accessible.
All of the hikes are rated online and in the handout given at the entrance. We choose Grandview; one of our party has bad knees so we need easy trails. A two mile trail it was easily accomplished and the views were fantastic.
Drove the entirety of the road system available to our Toyota Highlander. We had started our trip at 7:15 am and we returned to Moab by 2 for any early dinner before heading out to the La Sal scenic byway.Written 14 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We did a stop at Slide Rock National Park for a few hours and it was so amazing. Also stopped at a Dairy Queen in the canyon to cool down (LONG waits just for ice cream). We traveled through the canyon 3 of the 4 days we were staying in Sedona. - travelingal31Kansas104 contributionsThis is a great place to see Indian Ruins. Lots of stairs, but you can take your time (as long as you are out by 5pm)! The rangers were very informative. We learned quite a bit about the history of the area.Written 17 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jennifer B18 contributionsBe Patient and Be Prepared! Note best times to get into the park because parking is limited.
We just kept driving through the line at the gate and finally got a turn to go in.
Great trails that are easy to walk, beautiful views, and informative. Climb to the top of the 14 story ladders for the best views. Disappointing that one area was closed due to vandalism, and a little trash in off trail places so not possible to pick up.Written 16 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. As soon as we crossed into the park we were met by a buck standing by the road. Later we saw several wild turkeys, nice.
The scenery really is stunning, it's not the grand canyon, but the colors are beautiful. We did one of the hikes to the lighthouse rock, and it was super easy.
We are glad we did the side tour, make it on your list of things to do.Written 9 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
