Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It's been 10 years since I visited this gallery, but to this day it is one of my favorites. Such a colorful, happy, cozy, spot. I long to return and buy some artwork. Don't miss descending the stairs to this magical place.

Walked into Clelia's beautiful storefront and fell in love. I'm a ceramic artist in Texas and her art is incredible. Lively, playful and at the same time functional and durable. I had the privledge of visiting her workshop. Had I had another week to stay it would have been right there!! She had just gotten a new kiln and was very excited. I hope she's fired it up.

This gallery has a wide range of artist, many of them internationally known. It also has some very important local italian painters. There are few gallery dealers who have the sophistication and knowledge provided by Grantfield Gallery.

It was a whistle stop tour of Bibbiena and we stumbled across CIFA. The exhibition was a retrospective collection of wonderful black and white photography of everything from 70s Ireland to kids in Israel as well as a series of art and biog pics by Lisetta Carmi.

    The whole combination weirdly worked.

But mostly because it was bound together by the setting of an old prison. The metaphor of trapped, punished and fighting against society worked very well just through the fabric of the building itself.

So pleased we found this place by lucky accident.

My wife and I were visiting Sansepolcro to visit the renowned museums to see the works of Piero della Francesca and the ceramics by Della Robia. This museum offered a more personal look into one of Sansepolcro's most prolific yet lesser known artists. During the year they host various expositions of other local artist, but we were lucky enough to see the beautiful Franco Alessandrini Association Collection. The location is not always open, we simply called the number on the door and were greeting by a nice man who gave us a private tour.

Ensure you see all the historical sights of Cortona as well as the restaurants and shops would be my advice. It’s an Etruscan city.

Charming little church with art exhibitions. This season there was a lovely exhibition by Swedish artiste Liselotte Watkins! Afterwards we had drinks at the village bar la cantinetta. In front of the church was a restaurant.

We purchased a fantastic piece of artwork and recommend the artist.
However, part of the purchase included a glass plinth for the artwork to sit on. It was not effectively packaged for overseas delivery. I notified the gallery who agreed to follow this up; and they asked me to find a local manufacturer and seek quotes for a replacement. In short, after three months, this matter has not been resolved and the Gallery has refused to provide any compensation - even though a quote was provided (and refused), even though I asked them to find a better quote, even though I offered a 50:50 solution.
The net result is that I have a beautiful piece of artwork that is not appropriately displayed. My suggestion - if you cant take it with you then don't buy!
