Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- dundacilMassa, Italy133 contributionsInteresting visit to a bunker built during WWII to host civilians during allied bombing of Massa. It is very touching to visit it, in its bareness it commands silence and deep thinkingWritten 2 January 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ana HEstoril, Portugal155 contributionsWe'd travelled past this restaurant a couple of times and decided to pop in one night and were very pleased with our dinner. They served us a large dish of mixed meat with salad and chips, which kept both teenagers aswell as mum and dad very happy! The only down side is its location, its off the main road and therefore doesn't get many customers so its quiet, if you don't mind that.Written 16 August 2013This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mark DWest Bloomfield, MI1,362 contributionsPonzanello is a winery between Florence and Sienna, 2 km from Ponzano town. They produce very good vines. We stayed at their B/ B hotel for 5 days, excellent rooms. Very highly recommended.Written 28 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - lovetravel282015Philadelphia, MS171 contributionsThis is one of the oldest churches in Pietrasanta built in the 1300's.The Botero frescoes of Hell and Paradise are based on Dante's Inferno. They were shocking and outrageous in their time. The colors and the allegories are entertaining. Suggest you read up on the history of the frescoes to fully appreciate their impact and context. Or just enjoy them as they are fun!Written 20 May 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
