Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

In the Castle complex, the Lobkowicz Palace has been turned into a museum. It’s a fairly nice palace, not at the top tier, though. The collection of paintings mainly includes pictures of the inhabitants through the centuries. If you read about them, it was a somewhat interesting history, but as artwork, well let’s just say after probably 40, 50 portraits, it’s gets a little tedious. The rest of the collection is pretty nice. We probably spent more time than we should have, but what made the visit truly worthwhile was the view of Prague from the balcony. Wow, spectacular is probably understated. I told the worker in the room where the balcony was attached that it was probably the best view of a city I ever saw. Her response, that’s what almost everyone says. We probably stayed gawking at that view for 15, maybe 20 minutes. Then we went down to the cafe balcony downstairs for a nice, but lesser view. If you go to the Castle complex and of course you will, then you really need to see the view, if not the museum. It’s trip malpractice not to.

We visited the museum with my friend, and I was truly amazed; each artwork is unique, and the optical illusions are something else! You’ll definitely laugh, and you’ll definitely see things that will pique your interest. From the bottom of my heart, I recommend you visit because it’s worth it. And one last thing, the people working in the museum are very helpful and will take photos for you, just like they did with us.

Reasonably priced at approximately £20 for 2 adults. Lots to see. Particularly liked the cars and planes. Need about 3 hours to have a good look around. They have a cafe too. We didn’t use it but it looked ok.

Great museum, really interesting and out of the ordinary. They have really good ideas to explain how cinema is made and create a imaginary. I recommand.

This museum was really good. The works of steel were amazing and so life like.
The time and effort gone into making each was is pretty unreal.
Well worth a visit when in Prague.

It is amazing! Unbelievable, how long it was hidden under our feet and how many almost intact and valuable things were found. I would recommend it to everyone visiting Prague. It is just WOW!

We started our excellent walking tour from here.

Pasna brana also known as The Powder Tower because it was used to store gunpowder in the 17th century.

It is one of the original 13 city gates in the Old Town of Prague.

Construction commenced in 1475 and it was to be the entrance into the city.

Its a beautiful historical building and grateful it has been preserved.

I mean…. If you saw it and you think it will be a good laugh…. You probably don’t need the reviews….

It’s exactly what you expect. Funny and weird sex toys, strange BDSM stuff and more photos of hairy Fanny’s than you’d consider to be healthy.

Take friends, and ultimately you’ll have a ‘what is said in the museum stays in the museum’ experience.

A bit pricey, but worth it.

If you are interested in modern architecture, you cannot afford to miss this opportunity - full access to a meticulously-restored 1920s villa designed by Mies. It is such a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with Mies's understanding of space. We went on a 90-minute tour with a guide (if you are not a hard-core architecture buff, you may want to consider the shorter option). Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and spoke good English. Can't recommend it strongly enough!

Great laugh, good for pictures taking
Even with taking a number of pictures at each section it's still only about an hour.

100% worth it for the laughs

Really interesting tour and gives you a real insight into life under the Communist regime. Our tour guide Viktor was very knowledgeable and good fun. Answered all our questions. Recommended.

Suitably dark and difficult to navigate, but worth the visit. Also, it gets you all the way across the Charles Bridge. The other side is so much quieter, too! I think museum does a great job of creating the stifling atmosphere of Kafka's life which so much drove his works. Also, being quiet, you didn't get all the crowds which surrounded his house on the main side of river. This is becoming a circus, as quite a lot of the main sites of Prague are becoming, sadly.

The mine tour was really good. You get to explore a mine and hear about how they got the silver out of the mine. The museum is only ok so consider skipping that.
