Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely national library and it holds the most books in Bulgaria.

Statues in front honoring the guys credited with making the Bulgarian version of the Cyrillic alphabet easy to read and use.

I was very impressed with the quality of the advice provided here. A good place to pick up maps too, but for me the most helpful part was how to navigate the public transport system in Sofia. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

This library contains numerous writings from the 19th century. There is also a monument dedicated to the two Sveti Kiril and Metodii. This part of the city is especially nice because of the small streets and cobblestones that show the spirit and charm of Sofia. It is worth a quick visit.

Housed in a lovely building in leafy Slaveykov Square it provides a key service to the local community. On our visit an interesting exhibition marking 140 Years of Sofia as a Capital City was underway.

Fine staircases lead to the upper floor where a multitude of books are available for perusal and borrowing.

A grand piano was prominent, so presumably recitals are given on occasion.
