What travellers are saying
- Jennifer FGreensboro, NC73 contributionsWe took so many photos. Loved all the exhibits, especially Meredith’s Miniatures and The Hoggatt HouseWritten 1 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Andrea6 contributionsFacility is always clean and well maintained. Most of the staff is nice - the playground is large and fun! They usually have the train running on the weekends throughout the summer.Written 13 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tony HGreensboro, NC98 contributionsLots of fun. Took my science teacher girlfriend here for an outing. We loved the place. - Jennifer FGreensboro, NC73 contributionsI love kitschy roadside attractions and this one did not disappoint. It is easy to find and fun to see in person. My only complaint is that there were some bumblebees zooming around that scared my girls.Written 1 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jamie MGermanton, NC1 contributionOne of the most amazing museums! The kids love the carousel and the sandbox outside. The indoor water feature with racing boats was also a big hit. The girls also enjoyed the puppet show area and had a grand time jungle adventure/climbing areaWritten 26 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Fred M1 contributionBrown Truck Brewery nailed it again. Oktoberfest brew was excellent and came along with the NC Brass Band quintet complete with tubas and oompah tunes. And try the Czech pilsner, it was one of the best I've ever had here or in Europe. If they brew the Market Brown ale again this year (to celebrate Furniture Week, a high point in High Point), put it on the short list. It does a great trivia night, too. Very friendly place, both staff and customers and dogs.Written 9 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stewart MThomasville, NC210 contributionsMan, this is a cool baseball facility. Games are affordable, the fans heckle the umps, so that makes it funny to be there. Great food and beer options. Just a great family experience.Written 18 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- CUGlayMilford, PA73 contributionsWe decided to eat out takeout at the park one evening because restaurants were still not seating customers. There was a covered pavilion with picnic tables and a great view of the water. There are also a lot of open fields to walk near the waterfront. There is no fee for admission or parking. They do have a sign stating they close the gates at 7:30, but that didn't appear to be the case that evening.Written 21 June 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - finney9685Portsmouth, NH95 contributionsAny one would be blessed to have a parish like IHM - active, with many many groups and ministries. The Mary garden is so peaceful. A blessing for our family whenever we visit our HPU student. We've been many times.Written 9 February 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mikaela i4 contributionsI love it here!!! They have the best Ice Cream and FRESH fruits and vegetables. If you care about fresh, local family owner businesses or what goes into your body this is your place to go.
In the spring is strawberry season and in the summer all the fruits and vegetables and ice cream and then the fall is all about pumpkins and muscadines :)
Try the Chocolate Covered Strawberry Ice Cream! It is a must!Written 19 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
