Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great market! Lots to look at. I ate at Eat Offbeat and am so glad I did as they had a delicious range of GF and DF food and very welcoming and friendly staff. I bought some chocolate and orange GF and DF halva from Seed + Mill which was extremely moreish. Yum! I wanted to try the chocolates at Li-Lac Chocolates however they dont stock any DF options unfortunately. So pleased I visited this market! Highly recommend!

Macy’s Department Store is a New York institution, and the Black Friday sale provided a good incentive to check it out, and buy some greatly reduced clothes for our grandchildren. The wooden elevators were an unexpected treat.

Fantastic place - so many vendors to choose from. All of excellent quality. It can be pricey but one is at Grand Central - to be expected. Yummy cookies at Bien Cuit.

Saks Fifth Avenue is the flagship store for the Saks group. Located opposite the Rockefeller Centre and Saint Patricks it truly is a great location.

Open all year round, this place offers a varied selection of goods from regional farmers, bakers, and fishmongers. The vendors are friendly and are proud of their offerings. Fresh cut flowers and seasonal goods are available too.

Definitely one of the nicest and most well kept malls in the world. Immaculately clean. Plenty of unusual places to get unusual food. Clean bright public bathrooms. But I can't imagine doing any real, practical shopping here. This mall is more of a novelty at the World trade Center complex than it is a truly functional place to get stuff you need. I found the service to be reasonably good. But this is not a cheap place to shop. Most of what you find will be overpriced.

As an avid watcher of the TV show Friends I remember one of the characters working at Bloomingdales. As a result during my visit to New York City I wanted to check it out.

It's a very classy store and the things they sell there are WAY OUT of my price range.

That said the staff I spoke to were very friendly and polite and not condescending in any way which was good.

Worth checking out to say you have been there.

Great place to hide from the inclement weather, the vessel is also outside and you can start or finish the high line walk here

The Seaport district is situated on the East River in Lower Manhattan. It is a top nyc destination for unusual culinary, fashion, entertainment and cultural experiences. I couldn't resist a custom face cookie from the funny face bakery....it seemed almost too pretty to eat and the book-worm in me nudged me into the McNally & Jackson bookstore. I explored New York's origins as a world seaport in the South Street Seaport Museum and to get into a historical mood I toured the Wavetree cargo ship.

Columbus Circle is in the heart of many of the shops in the area. Some large brand names including Nordstrom. Recommended.

An easy no-brainer, especially for a group of hungry and differently-minded people, something for everyone

For West Coast people, this is a similar concept to Oxbow Market in Napa, or like an indoor "Streat Food" in San Francisco. Essentially, it's a brick and mortar with endless food and shop vendors, endless options for grab and go, fast casual, and sit down, and some of the tastiest options in lower Manhattan, and a perfect meetup spot for friends, family, etc. It's a wonderful use of space, and you could spend all day exploring, discovering, and meeting the nicest shop owners and cooks. Quite tasty and lots of smiles, all around.

Brilliant store ... work wear in the US is fashion in the UK. Helpful staff, not pushy.
This is my second visit in 3 years, a must do for Dickies and Carhartt loving son in UK.

I could not have thought of a more fitting title!! I happen to enjoy Italy and pizza and cannolis and mob movies!! It is all very fancy but I have no money to be going to Italy!! I went to this market today because I wanted to look at it!! It had a ton of stores but I didn’t buy anything!! It also had some interesting novelty pictures which I will add to my collection of weird things I’ve seen!! The stores had pastas and sauce and cannolis and pizza but there was no mobsters which was good for me!!
