Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Shari MOmaha, NE17 contributionsWe took our grandchildren here over the holidays. Everyone had a great time. - GoingGone2018Dayton, OH65 contributionsThis is closed for reno but they have the MOST AMAZING collection of Native American artwork. This collection was painted by a man who traveled with a German prince in order to preserve the trip, like a photographer would now. You must read about this before you go. There are several books about it. Prince Maximilian of Wied-Neuwied - how these paintings ended up in Omaha is a huge gift to Omaha. I go there when I visit Omaha and am sad it is temporarily closed but will be glad to go again when they reopen. It is fantastic.Written 22 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- cenztIowa5,821 contributionsGood trip. We arrived at approximately 2 pm and made our way towards the entrance of the house. We were greeted by an employee and paid the admission fee. We received a brief overview of the house and General Crook, and received a pamphlet that detailed what each room was used for. The tour was self guided and we made our way from room to room, looking at the furnishings and artifacts out for display. The second floor of the house contained several informational plaques that provided more insight about the area and the house itself.
Tip: I recommend spending 30 minutes here if you truly want to see everything.Written 25 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GalleybrookDallas, TX111 contributionsSpent some time in Omaha for the solar eclipse. Stayed with family and hit a couple of spots around town this was by far one of our favorite visits. - KathFWMadison, WI122 contributionsThis was cute for sure, but not worth the hype and raves we read about. Maybe there was an additional part of the alley that we missed, that's possible, but we only saw one small corridor with a couple levels. The shops were fine, the Trinis Mexican place on the lower floor looked great but we had already eaten before that.Written 27 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JustGo30 contributionsMy kids are older: 13, 15, 18. Even though I read this was a "children's" museum, we tried it out and stayed 4 HOURS! My first impression was how clean and kept up it was. Most of the exhibits were unlike anything we've ever seen and held the attention of my teens. Light and sound dominate the main floor. Upstairs lurs the rambunctious kids into a wonderful climbing structure in front of these massive windows that let the natural light in. Parents sit amongst the games of tag and soak in the sun, drinking their fancy lattes purchased from the cafe below. Each exhibit was interesting and my kids participated in every single one. Don't forget to allow time to play outside when you leave the museum.Written 16 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JSSAmberCambridge, UK625 contributionsThis museum takes an unlikely space--it looks a lot like an old church--and turns it into thoughtfully, pleasantly arranged display space. Parking is across the street and free. I especially love the programming that they do for kids.Written 2 April 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. That was in the late 1840s. After the Mormons lives on The mill was taken over in the late 1850 and began working again as the town of Florence grew. There are weekly flea markets here in the summer.Written 28 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
