Stunning beach, bring water shoes if swimming as its a stony beach. Handy carparking right down the hill on a safe small road (not too steep & room to turn at the bottom), then easy steps down to the beach. Not good for wheelchair access. Nice place so sit for some peaceful contemplation listening to the water gushing through the stones.

Amazing views of the sea and impressive cliffs from several viewpoints (miradores) including the lighthouse, Mirador de Sablón and Mirador de Cueva. We had a windy overcast day but the views were still spectacular.

This is a must see! Easy to get there and well worth it. The panoramic views of the north coast are breathtaking!

The town is sensationally pretty and loads of atmosphere. We were surprised at the number of restaurants closed in September but the main complaint was lack of taxis. We had to walk the 2 miles up the hill to our hotel on 2 out of 3 occasions

It’s a pleasant walk through the village and up to the mirador. The actual tower is a horrid, concrete construction and you don’t have to go u0 it to get good views of the town.

While it is true that a visit to this pretty house and its gardens is rather controlled (one must follow the proscribed route, check larger bags, and refrain from photography indoors) we felt very welcomed and found the people working there to be very friendly. The house and its furnishings are lovely, and there is some good art, including a Goya.

But for us the highlight was the English garden, with its towering tall trees (including giant sequoias), verdant lawns and delightful follies. It makes for a very pleasant stroll and a very different landscape from the fishing villages and beaches nearby. A surprising and interesting place you while away could of hours.

I saw this beach from the FEVE train on the hillside and thought 'I've got to go there', so I did. It is an impressive looking beach. Just be aware that while it is sandy below the tideline, you will have to cross some tricky and massive stones on the upper beach to get to it.
There's facilities at the west end of the beach, as well as a lifeguard. There's a car park close by, or you can walk on the coast path.

There is no doubt that the natural amphitheatre style of the town centre is a wonderful view and the reason that Cudillero is listed as one of Spain’s most scenic towns.
On the harbour front there is a white “Cudillero” sign that is perfectly located if you want to take a postcard style photo.

This impressive white church is in a delightful location up the steep hill from Cudillero in El Pito and it is certainly more attractive than the main church in the town centre.

A beach that stands between the see and the river. The beach has a lot of rocks and peebles and it's somewhat hard to walk along the beachfront. The river part is a bit better. It's an overall good beach, with parking and facilities. Not the best in the area, but still a very good one!

We stayed here for nearly a week in a lovely rental Casa de Campo11 right on the edge of the village. The village is very quiet with the only noises being chickens and a donkey! There are lot's of traditional houses here and a couple of small restaurants. A large supermarket is only minutes away by car if self catering. There are some lovely beaches within easy reach. And some lovely cliff top views to be seen. Villagers all seemed very helpful and friendly especially when we couldn't find our house on the first day with minimal Spanish and signs we got there. . So don't be afraid to ask if you need help at all!
