What travellers are saying
- Amy C1 contributionSo accommodating. So informative. So gracious. What a stellar business they have created. It’s no surprise they’re customer service is top notch.Written 12 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marius TMontreal, Canada37 contributionsI Pastini is a small vineyard next to Martina Franca. We had a tour of the vineyard and of the wine-making process, with detailed explanations in English. We were then offered 5 kinds of wine to taste, from their own production, along with a small plate of local appetizers. The wines are of very good quality, very affordable pricing, it's too bad they don't export to Canada :-) Warmly recommended!Written 23 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andy FDevizes, UK1,240 contributionsThis is quite a large cathedral church, with some impressive altars and artwork. The ceiling is very high, and features a small cupola. The exterior also features some impressive baroque decoration.Written 22 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TanmoussOslo, Norway2,056 contributionsWalk around in the streets and look for the many fancy Palazzos as shown on the map in the picture i posted. Nice square Puazza Immacolata.Written 15 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Margaret SNapier, New Zealand560 contributionsWe found wine tasting at Locorotondo, food at Alberobello, and vineyards galore. A lovely area to eat if you can get it freshly prepared. Be warned that some of the region has Italian type fast food like pasta that is pre made and then microwaved. Yuk!Written 27 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- JohnPugliaMartina Franca, Italy34 contributionsEverything was ready for us. We had booked and it was good to see three horses all saddled up and waiting patiently to go. All clean and tidy. Quite a gentle ride but nonetheless bracing. of the right size supplied. Very friendly and knowledgable staff. An hour’s ride for €25 is very good value.Written 27 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- NomadsjandpBrisbane, Australia96 contributionsA very beautifully decorated palazzo but no internal furnishings. Stairs to access (no lift was offered but I did find one hidden at the far end of the apartments which leads into the area which holds public offices/municipal doings etc) Not particularly fine frescoes but very pretty. No charge/ donation. I thought it was worth the 5euro for the 2 of us to encourage the further upkeep and opening of these historic buildings.Written 3 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - IDoLoveFoodBelgium667 contributionsA beautiful and inviting piazza with plenty of bars and restaurants. The architecture is very well thought of and attracts you to have a seat and a drink. Italy has a flair to make places like these attractive without there being any extra decoration. A good example of that is the half round arc.Written 28 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- lavender20186342Norwich, UK105 contributionsThis is one of the last great forests of Puglia with lots of marked trails. Beautiful autumn bulbs in flower and magnificent trees. - Zara INewcastle upon Tyne, UK173 contributionsThis is another church with no specific superior features to other churches. - Ronnie R2 contributionsWe came on an unannounced visit in August and got a very nice tour with the owner who did his best to tell us about the winery. We also got to taste the wine as well, which was very good.
I will recommend to announce visits as foreigners so an English speaking companion will be able to tell even more.Written 7 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We went on a Sunday when the whole town was taking a stroll after mass held in the rather splendid cathedral. A marching band played and the whole atmosphere was delightful. Friendly people and nice cafes. I would love to go back thereWritten 24 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
