Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stopped here to enjoy the view. It was a short uphill walk from the parking place in the village. The view is really amazing and well-worth the climb. Vineyards, fields and mountains in the distance. It is a nice place to take a break and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you in this part of Italy.

The small church on the way up to the Belvedere, Chiesa San Martino is also a nice place to stop if the church is open. It is a lovely village church.

Cappella del Barolo is an unusual Chapel located in the heart of Langhe. The building has been transformed in a colorful, small piece of modern art. The view to the vineyards on the neighbouring hills is spectacular.

The Chapel is reasonably close to the villages of Barolo and La Morra, so a quick detour is feasible. I recommend to visit during weekdays: on weekends the (non-asphalted) road leading to the Cappella is closed, and parking space is limited.

Climb to the belfry was only mildly challenging, even on a hot June day. The views were worth the climb. The docent on the ground level was helpful but a little spooky. Worth the 30-45 minutes we spent here.

A stroll through the town takes you to the highest point where this beautiful church is located. La Morra is definitely worth visiting!
