- jackbauerTXSaltillo, MS347 contributionsWent here on a Friday afternoon and it was a good time. If you have been to these types of places then this review really isn’t for you. You know what you get and it is pretty much standard across the industry. If you have never been then read on.
Got the kids a 2.5 hr package deal and to be honest I believe they were done in 1.5 hr. That is my first piece of advice.
The setting is best used for age 5 and above with certain areas roped off just for the little ones.
I recommend athletic clothing as you will break a sweat easily in this place. Also, as a parent, go easy. It is very easy to get injured trying to capture your youth.
I recommend if you are in the area.Written 13 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Something for everyone here.Written 22 June 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Lee H22 contributionsI did Runaway Train with my 7th grade daughter and 5 of her friends and we had an absolute blast! They were talking about it all evening. Casey was an awesome game master always providing us with helpful info without giving away too much. We broke out in 50 minutes! I didn't know if the girls would be too young to figure out the clues but they were so smart and it was helpful to have one adult to help on a few things they didn't understand. I can't wait to go back and do another escape room.Written 15 April 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dani CraftFlowood, MS1 contributionDBAT is such a great franchise that values excellence and the DBAT BHAM location represents that so well! Great location. Incredible staff. Unbelievable facility. Great for visitors coming in looking for a place to hit BP while at a tournament in the metro AND great for locals who are looking to really increase their level of play.
The combination with it being a great facility with a great staff really sets it apart.Written 23 June 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Patti CMontgomery, AL8 contributionsAlabama Goods has everything you'd ever want or need from Alabama in one place. I could have spent the day there shopping. It's a must-stop and easy to find!Written 8 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sally S1 contributionI've been going to Evolve for probably about a decade now, and every time is absolutely stellar. Michael is the best massage therapist I've ever had. I've been to some world-class spas abroad that win all these awards for their massage services... but Evolve is better.
Besides the best-in-the-world massages, whenever I go, I feel that the entire staff is welcoming, accepting, and genuine. These are real people who want a real answer when they ask "how are you?" It feels like I'm at home when I'm there, and everyone is super kind and truly caring for each individual who walks into the space.
I also completed two of the reiki courses offered here which has changed my life. I've gotten reiki sessions from various therapists and experienced several sound baths with Sunny, something I had no idea about before I learned about it through Evolve's offerings -- an experience I highly recommend everyone try. I've also signed up for Michael's Transformational Pathwork program that begins later this month, which I'm psyched about.
Evolve has so so much to offer and offers it all from a place of love and true compassion. I am so incredibly grateful for this lovely group of people who offer their invaluable healing services to our community. If you're exploring spirituality, need healing, or just want an exceptional massage, look no further than Evolve. <3Written 1 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Once Upon a Time childrens' shop is located on the corner, quite near Three Sheets and Four Seasons Art and Antiques. We call the adjacent bakery Five Cookies, although the official name is Savages and a long-time Birmingham favorite. Three Sheets is aptly in the middle of the best shopping block in this row, but don't miss AKA Girlstuff or Out-takes either. Across the street is Penzey's Spices and in the block closer to downtown is Urban Cookhouse, Theodora and Festivity. I love Three Sheets for their great selection of linens and bath products - Lolia is one of my favorite brands and I love to try out new scents there. I have also bought several great baby gifts there. Homewood is a very kid friendly shopping district! Don't miss the great selection of Laughing Elephant books and other artsy gifts at Four Seasons Art and Antiques when you are in the neighborhood.Written 13 May 2012This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
