Everytime I visit Haiti this is my point of contact. The food, service and boutique is all in one stop. This last trip I ended my 10 day stay in offerimg myself and daughter our last night there. We were amazed at how beautiful the rooms are and all the comfort of an5* hotel at a reasonable price and great breakfast to top it off. Hopefully my next trip to Haiti i can spend all my days there! Would recommend this place to all! 👍🏽

We chose La Lorraine as the place to stay to end a 12 day trip travelling around Haiti. What a gorgeous little boutique hotel right in the heart of Pétion-ville. Very convenient to walk many places or quick to get a car/cab. We were self-driving and there are a couple of secure parking spots our front which was helpful. We had one of the smaller rooms which had a comfortable bed, aircon and a nice bathroom (but we never had any hot water the whole time we were there - seems to be pretty standard). There was cable tv also. Electricity goes off numerous times a day (and aircon needs to be reset each time which is a bit annoying in the night) but apart from that, there is good wifi. Our room did not have proper curtains (just lace ones) so our room wasn't the darkest for sleeping. The room looked onto the inner courtyard and was very quiet. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant over a few different days and also enjoyed some snacks and drinks by the pool (a lovely place to chill away from the noise and bustle of Pétion-ville outside). Staff was SUPER friendly (both reception and the restaurant) and helpful. Only downside was really the no hot water but I'd stay here again based on all the other positives.

As our last hotel in Haiti, we could not have picked a better spot. Location is close to markets and restaurants. If you happen to drive as we did, they have a few secure gated spots for your vehicle. Rooms are spotless - though I think we had one of the smallest, peeking in others. Cable, fan, aircon, mini fridge, windows that open, nice towels. (The only grumble is the lack of hot water. Best you might get in afternoon is approaching lukewarm. Brrr.) Building itself is a beautiful hideaway with colourful art on the walls. A hidden oasis of a small pool is superb for relaxing after a day walking or driving around. Cafe 36, the restaurant, should have its own listing on TA: it's worth stopping by for a meal in its own right. (Bonus: a local micro-brew!) Staff throughout are friendly and most helpful. Absolutely recommend.

What a charm!! I'm a local and am always at La lorraine for lunch or drinks. This week I spent a night at the hotel and was VERY pleasantly suprised!! The most comfortable beds, pillows and bed linens!!! The rooms were clean and spacious and each have a unique charm and decor! The balcony rooms have hammocks!! best way to unwind after a long day! This is definitely my go to for visitors and even when I need time off!! LOVED IT! PS: new restaurant menu is very very good!!

La Lorraine is nearly perfect- this is THE place I always recommend to friends and family. The staff is kind and genuinely cares about the clients. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The restaurant has all sorts of great foods- so you're covered whether you want a hearty Haitian meal, or a lighter/leaner meal. The store is no exaggeration the best store in Haiti and holds a fantastic range of locally made, artisanal crafts. Finally, don't miss meeting Lolo, the owner- she's always happy to help, and has great recommendations of places/things to do in Port-au-Prince or outside the city. She personally helped me organise logistics and ideas for a perfect get-away weekend, and I'm ever so grateful for her help. Anyways- the point is- if you want to be well taken care of in Haiti. Just go to La Lorraine.

My boyfriend and I decided to skip the resort life and settled for this boutique hotel in Petionville. We were NOT disappointed. We were greeted by lovely Natasha who was welcoming, friendly and made us feel at home. Our room had a balcony attached to it and breakfast was included. We were able to play our speaker and no one bothered us . Our breakfast was not just Bagels… it included scrambled eggs or omelette coffee juice a perfect way to start your morning. The property itself is beautiful and well kept.. it feels like home… there were days we just stayed in the hotel to relax and enjoy the pool, everyone made us feel comfortable. The location was safe, we walked to nearby grocery store and convenient store. The food at the hotel was good as well and they had a pretty good variety a food to order after breakfast. The drinks were great, there is a boutique store on site where we purchased handmade jewelries.overall it was a great experience and we will make sure to stay there the next trip to Haiti… we want to specially thank Odonaire, Felix and Ashley for always caring for us with a smile and very polite. We appreciated the service we received from them and it was hospitality at it's best.

Its not all that typical what you expect in Port au Prince and thats a great thing.Lovely open bar resto with cooling fans and ice cold Prestige. A super friendly staff, and laid back atmosphere in the heart of hustle that is Petionville. Large comfortable rooms with dependable power and lovely verandas with hammocks for some private time. Make sure you check out gift shop loaded with incredible locally sourced gifts that showcase the best of Haiti's artisan culture.

La Lorraine in Pétionville styles itself a boutique hotel and each room has a name and a different decor. There is a pool too. Breakfast is included in the price in the adjoining restaurant which also serves dinner and hosts various events. When I was there they were celebrating women's month with a panel discussing what it takes to be an entrepreneur (in Krèyol and French) and later the same evening there was a quiz night (in English). The hotel is quiet which means an uninterrupted night's sleep, the rooms are clean. There was a room safe, a fridge, and a tv in the room. There was a ceiling fan that I used at night as well as air con. A small bottle of water is left for you daily but otherwise no option to make tea or coffee. This being Haiti don't expect too much. The minibar stocklist was irrelevant as the fridge (which worked) was empty and I failed to get any hot water any time I wanted a wash or a shower. Breakfast was coffee, fruit juice and toast plus either eggs or fruit or pancakes or saltfish. I would reccommend the fruit option as you get a big plateful plus a yoghurt. The dinner menu is largely standard hotel fare with one or two Creole dishes. Prices are in US$. I had crevettes and this was good. There are also lovely fresh juices served at the bar in covered kilner jars. All in all it's a reasonable place to stay and for those travelling by Caribe Tours buses it's great as the bus station is just down the road.

Thank you for leaving a review, and mentioning all our different activities. I will work on the option to make tea or coffee in the rooms and I do apologize for the mini bar not having anything in it. As for the hot water for the shower I do apologize also. We do have this issue sometimes when the electricity varies to much but we try and fix it as quickly as possible. As of April all the restaurant prices are published in Gourdes but you can pay is dollars also. We hope that all in all we will see you on your next trip to Haiti.

I was looking for a one night check in and decided to try La Lorraine. It's my new favorite. I love the boutique atmosphere. Cozy, artsy and classy at the same time. I like its location. It's near so many different restaurants and clubs. My room was nice and cozy. I loved my balcony with the hammock. The staff were professional and kind. I will definitely stay at La Lorraine again.

Very comfortable. Recently refurbished. I would describe it as a very good 4 star hotel with excellent Haitian art, a good restaurant for creole food and pizza, which invites lingering. Our room was quiet and power was uninterrupted.
