1)Dirty Sheets-Upon check in the room was spotless and bed appeared clean fresh and white. BUT we pulled the nice clean blanket back to reveal a previous 'wet spot' with pubic hairs still attached from a previous guest. We were completely disgusted. Then we noticed other random pubic hairs and stains as well that were hidden by the nice white blanket on top. Since the cleaning lady had already gone for the day, I had to change my own bed linens! I hope that the owners(not only of this hotel but all hotels in Thailand) will see this and realize it is NOT OK to leave dirty sheets on the bed even if the previous guest was only there for one night(or ONE HOUR)-EVER. You cannot simply dust off the sheets, throw on a white blanket and and try to trick people just because you are lazy. CHANGE THE SHEETS EVERY TIME YOU HAVE A NEW GUEST! As guests, we WILL write on TripAdvisor about our experiences and dirty sheets ARE a big deal!!!!! 2)Great location. The place is located just across the street from the beach. You can see it from your balcony. All rooms have a huge balcony to sit and pool is in the center of all. 3) Hosts were very nice and accommodating. 4)After we got clean sheets, we were able to relax and the bed was very comfy.

We are here now while im writing this review. Beach is just across the road Soooo near. Per room is 2000baht. Which can accomodate me my husband, doter 14 & 15yo and two boys 4&6yo. They have wifi, swimming pool. Not too big but sufficient for our needs. The only property which still cheap compare to the rest. Rent a motobike n u can explore nearby food area.

I have never stayed at this hotel so I cannot comment on the property. I can however comment on how I was fleeced by them so that others are aware. I booked a room for 1 night via hotels.com in Feb this year and upon arrival I was told the hotel was fully booked. The boss tried to push me to a "friend's'' hotel that is of a lower grade in terms of amenities and had bamboo walls in an isolated location. I refused naturally and requested for a refund which he promised he would expedite within one week. I ended up booking another hotel via agoda.com at Railay which he was unhappy about - naturally. It has been a month and I have yet received a refund despite numerous attempts at contacting them. I lodged a report with hotels.com and they claimed the hotel never responded either. I have since reported the matter to the Thailand Tourism Board. Establishments like this give Thailand a bad name. Me and my boyfriend wasted half a day waiting for him to arrive and gave him the blind faith that he was genuine in helping us. He was nice enough to drop us off at the nearest pier in his white Toyota Fortuner but he never refunded us. Never trust anyone with bottles of whiskey and condoms strewn on his back seat!

We walked in this resort n stayed for 2 nights. The beach is right across the road. Rooms are pretty good. There is a small pool. One of the staff/owners- Paul was extremely helpful and even dropped us to a restaurant in his car. Overall a great stay.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The staff were friendly, rooms were clean and the hotel grounds were clean. The hotel is in a nice location, just across the street from the beach. The hotel also has a nice pool with deck chairs. Our rooms were relatively cheap compared with other rooms in Ao Nang. My only real complaint is the noise levels at night and in the early morning. In the evening, the strip of road in front of the hotel and in the vacant lot behind the hotel turn into a makeshift raceway for local teens and their motorbikes. In the early morning, at around 5:15ish depending on when the sun rises, the loud speakers from a nearby mosque can be heard and woke us up every morning with morning prayer. Our room was adjacent to the vacant lot in the back. Our friends were in the room next to us and heard the motorbikes but not the mosque. I would recommend staying in a room not directly next to the vacant lot. Other than that, it was good value. The breakfasts were fine and consisted of eggs, toast, jam, fruit and a hot dog type sausage.

My family and I stayed at this resort for 6 nights in January. The hotel is in a great location opposite Ao Nang beach and within walking distance of Ao Nang town. The rooms were spacious and clean and the towels and bedding were changed daily. The owners did not speak much English but they were nevertheless very pleasant and helpful even though alot of the time we communicated by sign language. Our room cost approx £44 per night ( after a Little bartering ) and included breakfast. There are just 10 rooms which are located around a swimming pool. Ao Nang itself is quite commercialised and geared up for tourists so a little more expensive than some other areas of Thailand that I visited but still nothing to compare to European prices. The Main downside for this hotel was it's poor WIFI service which was a bit hit and miss. But if this is not an issue for you then I would recommend the Chaya as a base to stay if you are in the Ao Nang area.

This is a small beach front resort....just 10 rooms. The staff were friendly but we found this to be too basic for our personal liking. The pool area was nice but no loungers just plastic chairs. It advertises hair driers in all rooms but we were advised these were all broken ..so annoying because could easily have taken one. Breakfast is a standard plate of frankfuter sausage two fried eggs and toast...no other choice. At night the road outside turned into a race track with the local youngters roaring up and down doing wheelies and generally being noisey until 3am. This could be a great location and resort but I would not return.

Average accommodation at an average price. Bungalow style rooms. Single level, own balcony. Large bedrooms and bathroom, no shower curtain meant a very wet bathroom floor. Didn't have the breakfast, so no comment there. The first night there was some VERY loud music nearby (the doors on the wardrobe were vibrating). Second night was quiet. We were near the road, but I use earplugs and wasn't bothered by road noise (there is one small window that is just slatted glass, so no sound proofing). Small, but clean, pool. Best thing was the location. Turn left and it was a short walk into the tourist hub, turn right and it was like a step back in time to more relaxed, less touristy, Thailand. Cheaper food, drink and massage establishments. More rustic, more quiet. It was nice to see both sides to Ao Nang.
