I saw a review from September 2017 that said the reviewer had tried to get help hooking the TV up to wifi and no one knew how to do it. That's a long time ago, so things may have changed since then. We didn't try, so I do not have personal knowledge to help you. We found the TV to be typical of resorts in Mexico with limited channels in English, but we didn't spend much time in the room so we were OK with that. If you go to the TA reviews of the resort and put TV in the search line you may be able to find your answer.
In the regular room, no, there is no other sleeping area. And, I'm unsure about the rollaway. In the so-called "master suite", there are two rooms, one with a king bed (and bathroom) and the other with a "couch" that pulls out to become at least a double (if not a queen), and it's own bathroom. Depending on ages, easy for two kids to sleep on. If I was coming with a family, this is how I would go, both for privacy and space. When I was comparing prices, it wasn't much difference.
