We stayed at Tenuta Antica for 3 days to start off our Honeymoon in Italy. If we could give 10 stars we would!! We had the best stay possible— it was the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. Maria Pia, Mauro and their family create a welcoming and authentic atmosphere.
The organic wine that they produce on the farm is some of the best that we have had! We we’re able to watch them pick grapes and process the wine, and also received a great wine tour and tasting from Mauro.
The food is amazing! We had a four course home made dinner ever night. We we’re blown away by the quality and tastiness of each dish.
During the day we rented Tenuta Antica’s e-bikes and explored the countryside. This was our favorite adventure! We explored the five towers in the area and the beautiful vistas along the way.
In the afternoon we had a natural spa experience at Tenuta Antica, led by Francesca. She brought us on a journey through the Sauna (Finnish vs Russian style), cold plunge (in the bio lake) and the jacuzzi (+neck and foot massages). This was a unique and relaxing experience.
We HIGHLY recommend Tenuta Antica to anyone looking to explore this beautiful area of Italy. It is truly an authentic, relaxing, yet invigorating stay!

This place is home away from home here. My experience is unique from a usual guest. I am volunteering through an organization called WWOOFING. My stay is an extended one, 2 months. From what I have experienced of this massive operation; vineyard & winery, hotel and restaurant, with the new addition of wellness experiences and services, this place runs like a well oiled machine. The owners of 20 years, Mauro and Maria have welcomed me into their home and have shown me just about every aspect of this great place. The small staff is amazing and attentive. The hotel and restaurant are very clean considering the rural aspect of their location. The mostly organic meals are well thought out and mindfully created. I may be biased because I am living here, yet, coming from America and the high expectations...this wonderful destination is worth the visit, whether to stay for a couple of days, enjoy an appetizer with delicious wine or book your own wellness experience. I am so very blessed to have found this place. BTW, I am probably moving to Italy because these folks have shown me such kindness and have appreciated all I have to offer. The hospitality at Tenuta Antica is unprecedented. This is a hidden gem that needs to be shared!

Wow! On the way back home we've searched for a nice agricultur-stay and landed at Tenuta Antica. You get what you pay for there. Our room was spacious, super tidy and cleand with the atmosphere of old piemontese style. It was great! The menu in the evening was delicious and the hosts where really nice. You also can choose a vegan menue, which suited our needs perfectly as we where vegetarian/vegan travellers and it's not that easy to find vegan possibilites in Piemont. We've been in September, so there wheren't a lot of moscitos any more, but be prepared to pack a repellant. All in all a very nice experience, I'd definitely go there again!

Thank you for your feedback. We are happy you enjoyed your stay here. I do love cooking vegetarian and vegan and offer these options to our guests especially here in Piemont where 'meat based menu' are often the only possibility. Hope to see you again. Happy New Year!!

Really made to feel part of the family to the point of accompanying our hosts Pia and Mauro to a special winetasting event at one of the best Italian Pinot Noir wineries and also to dinner with our hosts and family on their day off. The meals are great with most ingredients grown organically. All part of the Asti region of agritourism.

Receiving this comment is the best prize you can get after years of sacrifice and hard work to create a real family farm where all the people (guests, friends, volunteers) can feel really at home! THANK YOU! Maria Pia, Mauro, Luca & Daniele

I stayed here for over two weeks with these guys (Maro and Pia) helping them around the vineyard and what not for food and a room. Had a great time, they are great people. Highly recommend.

A party of 12 visited the restaurant. A mixed group of vegan, vegetarians, gluten free and meat eaters. They catered for us all with good tasty food. Very nice organic wine made on the premises to drink. Well worth going too.

Maria Pia and her husband are lovely people: very kind, polite and professional.
The little apartment they reserved to me and my family was perfectly clean and tidy up.
We loved the Langhe landscape and the quiet of the resort.
The typical cooking is simply... excellent!! :)
Before living we delated shopping some specialities (wine, hazelnuts flavour) in the food market of the resort.
... Maria Pia promised to send me by e-mail the hazelnuts cake recipe...... I trust you!!!
:) :) :)
Thank you,
all the best to you and your family

Lovely little Bio agroturismo, where I enjoyed every minute of my stay. Fantastic hosts: Maria Pia who is an excellent manager and chef in the kitchen able to create any type of food: meat, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free etc, with vegetables from her own bio garden; and Mauro who produces top-notch bio wines: dolcetto, barbera and pinot noir (must try that one called la foglia) coming from the wineyards just above the house. They have as well own hazenut trees producing nuts in bio quality. Yummy! This is a place to go in langhe if you're foodie, want to try local specialities or bio freaks. I will for sure be back for the atmosphere, hospitality and overall well being. Thanks Maria Pia and Mauro!
